**Title:** Extremely Disappointing Experience – Forgotten Order and Endless Wait

I had one of the most frustrating dining experiences at this café, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. My friend and I visited for a quick bite and ordered a simple yogurt bowl, expecting a smooth and enjoyable meal. However, what followed was a complete letdown.

After placing our order, we waited patiently for our food. Fifteen minutes passed, then thirty, and still no sign of our yogurt bowl. When we finally asked the staff about the delay, they seemed disorganized and unaware of our order. It turned out they had completely forgotten about it!

To make matters worse, instead of apologizing sincerely or prioritizing our order, they acted as if it was no big deal. We ended up waiting a total of 45 minutes for a yogurt bowl that should have taken no more than 10 minutes to prepare. By the time it arrived, we had lost our appetite and were thoroughly frustrated.

The lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction made this visit a nightmare. I’ve never experienced such incompetence at a café before. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place if you value your time and expect decent service.

I have been coming here for the past 4-5 years whenever I want to do a relaxing weekend brunch. Such a solid spot with beautiful outside seating! They recently updated the inside, which I am not quite of a fan of, but the outside still has the same outside cafe vibes! Plus, you get to see all the luxury cars drive by, which is a plus in my eyes. Regarding the food and coffee, I have yet to have a bad drink or breakfast item.

My go-to will always be the breakfast burrito with the tomato tortilla. The salsa is a must-have with the burrito! I suggest adding some veggies to add a little health kick to it! As far as drinks, their Vanilla Latte truly has some good balance between creamy and coffee flavor!

Highly recommend, and great little shop along the coast!

Parking: Parking is a bit tricky if there are no spots by the cafe, or on the streets.

Got the avocado toast, pancake and some pastries. The avocado toast was delicious but I wish they mashed the avocado to make it creamy instead of slicing it. The pastry is delicious! Fresh squeezed OJ was delicious too

Parking: Got there before 10 and there was plenty of street parking. There's also a small street lot on the side street next to the restaurant.

I got a sunrise breakfast burrito which I thought was pretty basic. It was good but I wouldn’t say it was super special. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. It’s the perfect casual place in terms of ambiance.
The bathroom is outside the cafe, it’s shared by the other businesses in the building and is really not well kept.

The food is good, so yes. What is annoying as a customer: The digital monitor with a rotating menu above the counter is SUPER irritating. What we want as a customer is a way to see everything on the menu and read it at our own pace. When you're trying to read all the breakfast items and then half way through reading it the photo on the monitor switches to drinks, that's annoying. Here's a solution: print out the entire menu and put them in frames along the wall where your customers are waiting to place their order. This way they can read while they wait in line. Your staff at the cash registers could use a lesson in customer experience. They don't greet, smile or say thank you. They're a big part of the experience for your customers, so let's invest in teaching them how to add value. Lox & bagel should come with a lemon wedge.

$20 for a chicken salad sandwich with almost no meat on it. What a joke.

Cashiers needs to retrained regarding customer service. Extremely rude people.
Mgr Sergio should take charge. Also they add 18% tip automatically without telling you first. Against the law?

Never had a meal here I couldn’t have had at Denny’s.

Called and asked if they had a Coconut cake for my wife’s birthday. Person who answered phone said they had one left. I checked that it was a Coconut cake and not a donut. Confirmed it was a cake. Went to pick up and sure enough it was a donut. Ugh….otherwise food is excellent.

This place is awesome!!!!!!!! 6 stars if I could. I wish we live here so we could eat here everyday. All the employees are so nice and seem to like what they’re doing. The food is so yummy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

Super cute little candy shop. It's a bit expensive but you can purchase by the pound and get out for less than $2 if you just want a little. Service is Great too. They greet you as you come in and someone walks around answering your questions helping you.

Rose Bakery Café in Newport is amazing! The service is top-notch—friendly, fast, and welcoming. Their lattes are absolutely delicious, perfectly crafted every time. If you’re looking for great coffee and a warm atmosphere, this is the place to be!
