Again tried to give the benefit of doubt based on the anger that the company portrayed against me regarding the fact that your food is horribleSo I had to try it again and it was even more disgusting.Get a grip guysWear gloves. Be nice and provide decent food. Is that too much to ask for with your prices. I would 1000 percent go to subway or jersey mikes

Lots of delicious options here for everyone! We love any sandwich on the menu especially on the Dutch crunch roll! so Yummy! We also appreciate that there are salads and gluten free options for our big family! There are a lot of great sandwich shops in the Newport Beach area but The Sandwich Stop has the most options and serves very generous portions!! So glad to have it in CDM!

Cool little spot in Newport fashion island with the perfect name for what it supplies. We were looking for a quick bite for lunch and stumbled upon this gem. When entering everyone was very nice and attentive. They were helpful answering any and all questions that came up. Especially when walking in with a few hangry indecisive kids... (That was fun...) It's a small little shop and we were lucky enough to find a seat inside. We ordered the kids a Peanut butter sandwich for our plain little guy and a salami sandwich for the more adventurous one. Mom had the 'Hir Chick" and I went with the " Get Chicky with it. " Everything tasted amazing! I snapped a quick picture when we got our food, but the pictures just don't do it justice. Besides the fact that I should've taken a photo of the inside of the sandwiches. However, it's all about the flavors together. To top it off, the sourdough roll was pretty perfect as well. Tasted super fresh. A bit crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything was so good that it just helped maintain that positive vibe for the day. We will definitely be back for another sandwich.

This place has an amazing variety of sandwiches. There are a few vegetarian options. I enjoyed the hippity dippie vegetarian sandwich with cheddar and sourdough. I'm glad it wasn't the usual boring vegetarian options every store offers. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I had multiple bags of take out and he offered to help me put them in my car.

Second time wrong order. This time my husband gave my name and instead of saying they didn't have an order for that name (and asking him his name) they gave him someone else's order whose name sounded close enough?!!? With a gluten intolerance, what he brought home hit the trash for me. He ate someone else's sandwich which wasn't good although they might have loved it. I would have gone back but we were eating in a hurry as we had plans so no time to do so. This is the second time the order was 100% wrong and included no drinks. When I called they indicated they needed to look into a refund. I said at least refund the Olipop they said they will call back. Spoiler alert, no call no refunds even if only for items I didn't receive. I could live with paying for the sandwich I threw out. I had some decent food here in the past but the long waits and incorrect orders are too much for me.

Great food and service. Jerry is the best. Locally owned shop. Love the Tuna melt on croissant with bacon. Also had the best smoothies.

On a sunny day in Corona Del Mar, I found myself at The Sandwich Spot, a cozy fast-casual eatery I decided to try for the first time. The weather was perfect for a midday meal, and I was keen on a relaxed lunch experience.Walking into The Sandwich Spot, the small yet welcoming ambiance struck me immediately. It's the kind of place where the simplicity of the setting belies the richness of the flavors on offer. The staff, appropriately staffed for the size of the joint, greeted me with a helpful and friendly attitude, setting a positive tone for my visit.Opting for takeout, I ordered the #2 'The Dani California Club' on a wheat roll - a sandwich that promised a blend of turkey, bacon, cheddar, and avocado. To complement it, I chose jalapeño chips, hoping for a spicy kick to my meal. The ordering process was smooth, and despite the restaurant being just right in terms of staffing, my order was ready in a surprisingly fast 10 minutes. As I waited, I noticed the diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. It's a thoughtful touch that speaks volumes about the inclusivity of the place. The pricing, I observed, was more favorable when ordering in-store compared to delivery services, a tip worth remembering for future visits. One of the most delightful surprises was their loyalty punch card system - a 'buy ten, get one free' offer that immediately appealed to my sense of value. It's a clever way to encourage repeat visits, and I could already see myself coming back to try more of their offerings.Sipping on my soda, I found the seating to be adequate for a casual dining spot. While there was no indoor bathroom, the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable. The moderate noise level, accompanied by subtle background music, made for a pleasant atmosphere while I waited for my order. When my meal was ready, I was pleased with the presentation and the portion size - just right for a fulfilling lunch. The first bite of 'The Dani California club' was a delightful experience. The freshness of the avocado, the savoriness of the bacon, and the tender turkey came together in a harmonious blend, while the cheddar added a creamy richness to each bite. The jalapeño chips were a perfect side - crunchy and with just the right amount of heat.As I left, navigating the somewhat difficult on-street parking situation, I reflected on my visit. The Sandwich Spot in Corona Del Mar is a gem for those seeking a casual, yet satisfying meal. With its friendly service, diverse menu, and reasonable pricing, it's a place that warrants repeat visits. And with the added incentive of the loyalty card, I'm already looking forward to my next sandwich adventure here. The Sandwich Spot is more than just a place to grab a quick bite; it's a spot where quality, service, and value converge to create a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Corona Del Mar, it's a place that should be on your sandwich destination list.Note: I ate my sandwich so quickly I forgot to snap photos. I'll be sure to return to the Sandwich Spot in the future to correct that oversight.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread available and creating something vegan should be quite easy.Parking: There’s not a dedicated lot for the Sandwich Spot that I could find, but if you don’t mind walking there is on-street parking in the nearby vicinity.

My favorite sandwich shop in OC. The menu is full of creative options, 40 delicious choices to be exact. The staff is friendly, and the place is impeccably clean. Highly recommended!
