The manager was extremely rude, unprofessional, me and my bf were new to ordering there and we accidentally ordered something wrong, so we decided to just ask for a refund, the worker said to come the next day and we would get a refund and then the manager began to be rude the next day we went in! Was very unprofessional, would never eat there again.

I called to check if they had a mild sauce because my girlfriend has a sensitive stomach and can’t handle spicy food. When the call was answered, the lady on the other end said, “This is Holdak.” Not a second into me speaking, the line abruptly cut off. I assumed it was a mistake, but I heard what sounded like the phone being slammed down.
I tried calling again, and the same thing happened—twice more. I couldn’t believe it. I just wanted to ask about the sauce options for dietary reasons, as I planned to order through DoorDash, which doesn’t provide this kind of information. I even tried calling other locations, but some of their direct lines appeared to be cut.
I’ve eaten here before the pandemic, but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Main issues:
Rude and unprofessional behavior: The employee hung up multiple times, seemingly on purpose, even when I was simply asking a dietary question.
Lack of customer service: Repeated hang-ups suggest a disregard for customers and their concerns, especially when dietary restrictions are involved.
Inconsistent phone support: Attempts to call other chains also proved difficult, as some direct lines were cut off, making it impossible to get needed information.
While I used to enjoy eating here, this experience has significantly affected my impression of their customer service.

Fries, mine came with no seasoning. Taste like crinkle cut fries from the freezer isle. Spicy chicken sandwich was very average, in my opion not worth 15$. The website said they made their ranch fresh everday...I don't believe it's made in house, it tasted like hidden valley ranch.
Overall: overpriced really poor quality food.

Holdaak is absolutely delicious! A delectable selection of sauces/flavors, excellent French fry quality and the a smart choice in not absolutely dunking the chicken in the sauce of your choice but instead, liberally yet thoughtfully drizzling the sauce generously allows the chicken to maintain that fantastic & famous Korean fried chicken CRUNCH while offering mouth-watering flavor(s).
The Seoul spicy is easily my favorite but for spicy bbq lovers the Tiger is the way to go! There are also non-spicy choices for people looking for a milder taste. Still very delicious and that's due to the juicy and flavorful chicken itself. The corn ribs are absolutely amazing and I'd rank the French fries here high up on my list of all time favorites. Food is high quality and Mohammed is an absolute food afficionado and pleasure to be served by. Definitely will be coming again!

Delicious and hearty chicken sandwiches with great sauces. The staff are super friendly and even let us try a sauce they haven't officially released yet. Will definitely be coming back!
Today was our first time visiting HOLDAAK and it was excellent! My kids are pretty picky and they loved it as well. We got the chicken tenders, toast, fries, and slushies and everything was great. The house sauce was my favorite dip. The restaurant is clean and the employees were friendly. Highly recommended.

Yummy and filling chicken sandwiches! The spicy is moderately spicy and the chicken tender is huge! The cashier who took my order was accommodating and really nice. Very affordable for the food you get!

This place is a 10/10. The chicken is so crispy and flavorful like nothing you have tasted. The sauces are to die for. The drinks are the cherry on top. The workers are amazing and the owners kept asking if everything was how we liked it. I would highly highly recommend. And on too of that it is Halal.
