We were driving back from Ontario to Orange County and looking for a place to grab some food in Corona. Since we weren’t familiar with the area, we turned to Yelp to see what restaurants were nearby.
Maze came up as a highly recommended spot with great reviews for both food and service, so we decided to give it a try.
If you’re reading this review, look no further, just go! The food, service, and drinks were all amazing. The carnitas were a huge hit and there was more than enough food for two people to share. The kids also loved the outdoor seating area, which had a really fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Service was excellent from the start, chips and salsa were on the table before we even had a chance to order drinks.
Not knowing the area, we weren’t sure what to expect, but this place delivered. If you’re looking for great food and great service without breaking the bank (or your stomach), this is the place.

We had such a beautiful experience at Maiz Cocina last night. The decor is absolutely adorable and thoughtfully done for Valentine's Day the- lighting sets the perfect mood, making the space feel cozy yet elevated at the same time. The atmosphere is welcoming and truly suitable for all age groups, whether you’re there for a date night, a girls’ night, or a family dinner. The food was top of the line in both flavor and presentation.. every dish felt intentional and delicious. And the customer service was just as impressive: attentive, professional, and full of class from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide.
