Ordered a Mighty Mo Burger takeout for my kid. He loved it. The beef in the burger was good. The lady taking the order for us is friendly. The food is a little more expensive than other nearby restaurants I think it is due to the location. So convenient. Kind of makes sense.

While staying at the Coronado Resort, I stopped by Albaca during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel bar has a relaxed, upscale vibe with sweet views that make it easy to unwind. I went with a local Stone Brewery IPA and the steak nachos…A solid choices from a decent happy hour menu. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Overall, a great spot to kick back after a day in Coronado. Would definitely return for the views and the chill atmosphere during my stay.

Casual, quiet patio with bay views, a nice menu, and good bar drinks. Service is seriously casual, so order when you can. The food is very good. I enjoyed the Empanadas with a special Old Fashioned. My partner had the Southwest Salad, a good salad made well. Above average resort restaurant.

Awful seating when asked for water view was stuck in a corner when plenty of room was avialable. Waitress seemed mad because she had to wait on the table. She was older and very unpleasent. Think she can to our table three times. Menu was all over the place with food choices. We had the calamari that we couldn't even chew it was god awful. Asked for a medium rare steak and received a cold raw bloody steak. The asparagus was like dry wood. Hard and dry! Pasta was over cooked and stuck in a lump on the plate and lobster was chewy and over cooked. Horrible food, SERVICE WAS AWFUL and not a place to ever go back too.
Overpriced for what we ate. The parking is 30 dollars to go to their restaurant for lunch!!!!! Cannot believe they do not validate the parking or give special rate for residents. The way they handle the parking and food prices to me, it is not inviting to ever go back. I hope they give residents a brake.
Very nice view, forgettable food, and unbelievably tired seat cushions outside. We are talking like used to be 3" thick and is now, maybe, 1/2". Does not reflect well on Marriott.
is excellent

The ceviche was on the appetizer menu, but it was sufficient for an entree. The tortilla soup also was an entree. Presentation was lovely. We were seated by the window, which gave us a view of the shore.

The restaurant was nice overall but we had to wait a long time for service. Kids meals were $14-maybe that's standard in California. The soft drinks were overpriced-$5. Despite those things being overpriced, the food was very good.
Nice atmosphere, we liked the live music and their repertoire but the food was not that great. Brussel sprouts were undercooked, fish was quite dry and the steak was just ok.

It was definitely not worth the money. The hotel and restaurant are very nice. The views are beautiful. The brunch was subpar at most, $85 a person there was not much to choose from. Both meat options were overcooked, not enough variety on their sides And the desserts were mediocre. The omelette station and waffle station save the day but besides that it was not great They also charge $35 per child but do not offer anything specifically for children. My kids are not picky but the food was not great and there was nothing geared towards kids. For $35 they each had some veggies/hummus, chips and guac and a waffle. I would definitely not recommend this place for brunch The food that you order off the menu if you sit in the bar area, however, did look good!
A wonderfully relaxing place if you were in the area, Oscar and other servers, every bartender, and their host Elena, are wonderful representatives of hospitality. The restaurant and bar area are very well kept up and clean. You can't beat the views and there's outdoor fire pits as well as the comfortable indoor seating.
The food is great, not totally fancy but done well, and the menu has enough diversity to be to be interesting. You can't beat the value for happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00, but even after hours or before.... The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful, and it's a very enjoyable experience.
If you want a healthy bowl, they are flavorful with a perfect avocado fresh grilled chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and hummus. I would have loved it pool side.
The flatbreads are very generous in size, with delicious crust, and you can't beat the crispy brussels sprouts!
If you're staying at the property, there's lots of options nearby but if you're looking for a night in definitely come by here. If you're outside of the property it's a nice stop too!
It should be listed that the restaurant is located on the resort/in the Marriott Hotel. I drove around in circles a couple times before stopping to ask someone. The waiter was nice but often took too long to come back and check on us. We were on a time crunch. We only wanted to spend an hour for dinner, not two. The food was so average and yet expensive. We eat pretty healthy but could only find a few things on the menu that we were interested in. We ordered two appetizers, a salad, and a poke “bowl” that was actually served on a plate, and 2 alcoholic drinks. We split the check 50/50, but I added the drinks to my bill and it came to $85 before a $10 tip. That's a lot when the food was just average. We will not go back during our next Navy duty weekend.
