We celebrated my mother's 78th birthday dinner. Billy, our server, was polite, friendly and attentive. He checked on us throughout our meal, at the perfect moments. Billy also, knowing it was my mother's birthday, brought her a crème brûlée birthday dessert. We are looking forward to having dinner here again.
Food was great! Disappointed the server didn't tell us the kitchen was closing so we could order dessert. We wanted dessert otherwise everything was good.
everyone was very pleased with everything, except one was unhappy with the sea bass they ordered. it was over cooked and way too dry - ended up not eating it or taking it home, so we left it in a container so that someone there could check it out if they had a mind to. never have we had this problem when dining at the La Mesa, Ca location of the Brigantine! we have recommended the La Mesa location to several and will continue to do so. and we will continue going to the La Mesa location. only went to the Coronado location because of family wanted to go to Coranado :(
Always delicious.

Ordered the Octopus, it smelled bad and tasted worse. Hope I don't get food poisoning. The waitress was amazing and made prompt accommodations to get me another plate of food.

Food was really not good. Think Applebees in an upscale environment. Not anywhere close to fair value.
very good all round. excellent and welcoming service. food was very good and value pretty good too. as always in the Brig an nice relaxed but vibrant atmosphere !
I ordered the NY steak and it was real good. Service was real great as well. Highly recommend.
I thought this place was really good. We ordered a bottle of wine to get things rolling with a dozen of pink lady oysters coming in right behind. The ladies didn’t last long as I polished off my than my fair share, per the usual. Main course was the swordfish and broccolini. All of the food was great and the wine really tied the whole meal together. Atmosphere was bustling and energetic for a beach front Saturday night. Overall pleasant experience. Would definitely do again!

Food is delicious! The calamari, Seafood Cobb, Parmesan Crusted San Dabbs, Blackened Salmon fantastic!!!
Service from beginning to end is wonderful.
The ambience is so familiar, casual and sea faring classic.
Brigantine is a nice restaurant for families, dates, friends to enjoy. Don’t forget classic cocktails.

Staff was more concerned with going home and closing than giving attention to customers. Food sat on shelf while staff cleaned tables to leave. Then bought food to me after it sat for longer than 15 minutes on shelf. Calamari was horrible and shrimp was tasteless. However, tacos were delicious and well worth the money.

Jill was the most amazing server we have had at the Brig. She was friendly and patient and everything was amazing!
Server (Collin) was not good..too many issues. Couldn't hear him and then made us and another table wait for our bill. Asked for a dressing in a small container to take home with my leftover salad, brought me the container with no dressing.
Pleasant ambience, delicious food, great wine selection. Our server, Fernando, was gracious, helpful with selections, attentive without undue hovering. We've had him before and hope to see him again.
