Angie, so attentive and polite and is my go to place
By far the best sandwiches in Coronado
Best Sandy's on Coronado
Got here randomly when walking from the ferry to Del Coronado, went in to buy a Diet Coke, ended up buying an amazing italian sub I will definitely buy again when I go back.
A little bit of everything for everyone from alcohol to snacks. Friendly staff.
I almost didn’t want to write this review just to keep this place my little secret—but for the sake of the business, I’ll share!
This is hands-down the best hidden spot on the island. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We stopped by in the morning to explore picnic lunch options for the park, and even though we weren’t buying anything yet, the owner was so kind and patient, walking us through the menu.
After checking out other places, we returned a few hours later to order. On the owner’s recommendation, we went with #14 and #25—the Reuben sandwiches—and they were phenomenal! Perfectly stacked with plenty of meat, just the right amount of bread, and a spot-on balance of sauce. This place is now a must-visit staple for us.
Don’t miss it!
Fast and friendly service the best Deli
The workers are not welcoming they ignored us and served a customer after us first. We will not give them our business when we are in town. Yuck
If you need something talk to Tony
Best liquor store ever love these guys
The night shift guy working the cashier was extremely rude and acted like he was on something. Not a good look for Coronado

Best sandwiches made with TLC. Staff above and beyond! Top shelf liquor for days. Highly recommended chicken cordon blue sandwich!
Not so friendly staff again.
Saw a women get the bathroom door open on her while in use, staff didn't even knock. I'd say very rude.
Way better liquor store down the street that knows how to treat people right. And the sandwiches are more bread than meat…,
I’ve been a regular at Central Liquor & Deli since my high school days, and it’s always a pleasure to stop by. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches are nothing short of amazing—perfectly flaky and filled with delicious ingredients. What keeps me coming back, though, isn’t just the food; it’s the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff always greets you with a smile and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great start to their day!
