Had a great experience at Clayton Café! Patton, our server, was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and came out promptly. I especially loved the back patio; it’s a charming spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town!
We had originally went to eat at day and night cafe. The service was so poor over there, the host didn’t even acknowledge us and made us feel invisible that we decided to come over to the bakery. So glad we did. We were instantly treated with kindness. The host told us to sit where ever we wanted and offered to clean a seat for us in the front. Complete shift in vibes. We sat in the back and our server was very kind and attentive. Food was pretty good. I would say the atmosphere...
My Chai Latte and and Croque Madame were 5 stars of perfection. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had!! My friends ordered the burger (also 5 stars), the French Onion Soup (2 stars) and the Frittata (2 Stars). It was super busy, and the staff were struggling to keep up on a Sunday.
I would give it 5 stars based on my meal, but two of my friends were pretty disappointed in their food, which I tried and agree with. So, just order the Croque if you want something...
