**Updated** 8-23-2023. Sorry to be more specific it was a group of us. It was decided not to go back and go to another restaurant the next time we get together. I did like that restaurant more, however, some of the other men like it a hole lot more, especially the service.
As far as the reviews goes you get some great reviews. But you also get bad reviews 1 star. I've read through some, some reviews were consistent with others. And some had a lot to say. So one again it's just one restaurant, one review
8-12-23Just average, The food was ok. Service was not real good or bad. Don't remember the server. Its one of those restaurants you talk to those who are with you, the food comes, you eat, that's it. If you get bad service you don't go back, no big deal. I've been to PLEANTY pancake places, waffle House, mom pop breakfast places etc. The same just average. Went back maybe another time. Some are just a one time visit.
2024 Update: gave it another try but this time the taco shop. Food was average but needed seasoning. They forgot a important item for my/and or our order. But we are already gone.
Parking: A lot of times there isno close parking. Sometimes you have to park far away.

After all the at the beach we were so thirsty. We were blessed to spot this place. Except the best ice coffee it was nice to sit around in the shade side. So cozy place, even US Army go there for coffee :)

I was sooooo disappointed! My husband and I have been looking forward to trying this place and when we went this evening, we were both heartbroken with how everything turned out. We really thought it was going to be good! The biscuits hard as a rock and the gravy was really thin with no flavor. Definitely not worth the price. Maybe the place is better during the morning?

Fantastic breakfast! Amazing cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing! Wish I could go every day. Prices are very reasonable as well, especially considering where it's located.

Authentic American diner! Keep coming back for their sandwiches, homemade deserts, and coffee. They have surprisingly delicious fries and friendly service!
My reason for 1 star,is because the girl/hostess our party was 8 people I ask if we couldn sit at the bar she. Said 10 to 15 minutes we said fine then we kept seeing spots open up I asked again how much more time she kept saying 10 to 15 minutes then she kept jumping up and down the list passing parties of 4 to 6 people after almost 25 to 30 minutes we finally left!! Good is awesome but the girl should not be jumping up and down the list like she was!!! We could've passed and sat down 3 or 4 times over but she kept doing the same thing !!!! They have to put someone who has a little more understanding on how to sit people!!!

This is a great diner! The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy the whole weekend, but they do a great job of getting folks in and seated. Our sandwiches were top knotch and huge! The onion rings were amazing.
I came for a breakfast burrito and it exceeded my expectations. Was taken care of by Hector who showed great enthusiasm and hard work.

Amazing diner on the corner of a main drag. This spot has such oldies vibes and so many happy servers and customers. The food was seasoned perfectly and was quick coming up after ordered. I had the chicken and waffles. The best chicken I have ever had!
