Went specifically for the lobster pot pie tasting event. Started with a Mai Tai which was the best I'd had in a long time. The pot pie was large, filled with good sized pieces of lobster and had a very flaky crust. Had creme brulee for dessert which was superb - very creamy with a perfectly crackled caramel top. Ashley, our server, was attentive, but didn't hover. All drinks and courses were brought to the table in a very timely fashion. It was very quiet for a holiday evening and the decor had been changed since our last time there and we found it to be very stark.

The service was great and the seafood was even better. Halibut and black cod we're outstanding.

Clean, bright and attractive decor. Wait staff super friendly. Cioppiino was very tasty and delicious except for the calamari which was tough and rubbery. The sauce was excellent— not sour like some tomato sauces can be. Lobster roll had plenty of lobster and was served with melted butter and a very good coleslaw. It was great to have a “real” sour dough bread!

This was our second visit to Bluewater. We had had lunch here, and this was a dinner visit. The food was delicious, and our server, Clarissa, was friendly, helpful, and delightful. I got the Rock Lobster tail and my wife got the Sanddabs.

The blackened Halibut was fabulous!!! The service excellent! One of my favorite restaurants in Coronado.

We will absolutely return! Our experience was excellent. My friend had been here before on a previous trip and couldn't wait to bring me this time. The service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious! We started with the New England clam chowder and the Manhattan clam chowder, both were excellent. The sourdough bread served with butter was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For our main course, we shared the surf and turf, which was more than enough for two. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly, the steak was done exactly to order, and the scalloped potatoes were incredibly flavorful. Everything was just fantastic!

The fish is always excellent and so is the service. We love going here and the fact that it has parking is wonderful.

The ambiance, views and service were superb! I loved my rockfish and the spiny lobster special! The grilled octopus was too smoky so don't recommend and wouldn't recommend a burger, at least from the kids menu.

Every meal our table of five ordered was absolutely delicious - wonderfully prepared and presented halibut, lobster roll, scallops, steak and a calamari appetizer. We also managed to share two yummy creme brûlée after the meal.

Just happened to search restaurants on Coronado Island. Found this, great location, history. Wine choices excellent and seafood better than expected

Table outside was the only one without heaters. We were cold throughout dinner and our food became cold within minutes. Maybe we just were given the worst table in the restaurant.

Best restaurant in Coronado, the service is excellent, and the food is great, best quality and fresh products. Congratulations! The only thing missing is expresso coffee.

Seafood salad was good. Clam chowder was very good. Server was over worked and thus was not very attentive.

I had shared before arriving that we were celebrating our 20th in the notes and had called weeks ahead of time requesting nothing special other than a nice seat with a view. Being at the 5 o'clock hour when it's actually scarce lots of open tables. My wife had to sit underneath the lower portion of the roof as I'm too tall. I get the view of the harbor she gets the view of the corner. Our table leaned along with needed leveling support because it rocked back& forth. It's not rocket science, fix it!! Service actually sub par never asked if my wife would like more coffee. Did ask how the food was. The food was excellent. The table next to us which featured a view for both of us was occupied by a single person working on their computer. Thankfully my original backup plan came through the night before where we were able to dine at Lelia's. At the end after being dessert & we declined. Our server can't back with a bowl of ice cream a lit candle a nicely wished us a happy 20th. They didn't have to do that it wasn't expected but we were $$ thankful. We'll return again like I said the food is awesome. But they seriously need to do some maintenance.
