We requested a window table but should have been more specific. Our Table was outside by a window. The temperature was comfortable but the roll down shade was closed and the window looked out at the parking lot. Should have said water view table

Overall was good. We ordered half a dozen oysters and each one had shell fragments in them. Dessert was awesome as was the panko calamari steak.

Service was excellent. One of us had a "surf and turf," while the other had another fish dish. The lobster and the fish were excellent, but the New York strip steak with the "surf and turf" was simply not a very good piece of meat. Dessert was good and the mud pie was large enough for several people.

Food and wait staff were superb. Not noisy and a lot less expensive than I would have guessed. Very reasonable. Fresh fish done right!

Food and service was awesome on Valentine's Day! Sent one drink back due to a small bug in it. Server quickly fixed it for us. Food came out quickly and was wonderful! Husband and I both were very happy to be able to get the ponzu sashimi scallops here in Coronado instead of having to make a trip to Catalina!

Food was great, service was great! But some guy who we guessed was a manager (because everyone was in black & white & he had a bright pink shirt on) was being kind of rude. We were upstairs & he was yelling at the waiter when we got there (awkward) & then proceeded to stand right beside our table for 10-15 min pitching a private party to a family he brought upstairs. The family was talking at a reasonable level about a future party but the manager was talking so loud that we couldn't even hear each other so we sat in silence until he left. If anyone wants to know what Bluewater offers for a big party, we can tell you all the details. Lacking some class to be that oblivious to your guests. Also the waiter he was yelling at was great.

We had a reservation. We walked in and wete shown promptly to our table. it was Valentine's Day, so the restaurant was busy. Despite that, the server was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the service was fast. Food was excellent, as always.

Great lunch experience. My companion had the lobster tail and I had the cioppino. While both items were on the pricier side, both were delicious and the presentation was outstanding. Fresh bread was brought to our table quickly and Logan, our server was delightful. My companion topped off her meal with vanilla creme brulee! It was a wonderful afternoon. Thank you

We had Trout almondine which was excellent. Huge portions. Really good wine selection. Service was great. Will definitely be back when we're in San Diego!

Friendly, fast service. Food was well prepared. Prices are a little high - but it is a resort town.

The Alaskan Halibut is always delicious but one of us opted for the Lobster Roll and it was very good too. Bluewater Boathouse is one of our favorite seafood restaurants.

Beautiful place to have dinner. It's a bit loud unless you're able to get a corner table. My wife and I ordered the New York Steak. The potatoes and asparagus were awesome however, the steak was tough and gristley. When we told the server, all he said was he liked his steaks that way. We couldn't eat most of our steak. Our friend had the seafood soup which she loved. The drinks were well made. We were simply surprised by the lack of courtesy not offering a discount or a better, eatable steak. We're not in a hurry to return to this restaurant.
