We went for brunch using the Resy perks on the AMEX Credit Card. And I will tell you this is now a repeat. This will be the spot we bring our family to when they visit, friends and casual brunches when the time permits. Our waiter was a complete sweetheart and I hope she serves us everytime we go from here on out!!

Great place for date night! Staff was friendly and really kind. Steak could have been softer. Loved the clam chowder soup & salmon.

Great view and the food was great. It was a very busy night but Lucia was very accommodating and super friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.

We went here because we had a $100 Resy credit. We got here and the place was very pretty and had a lovely view of the sunset.
That’s about where the good things end. We got the jumbo shrimp and we got 5 shrimp for $24, and they were nothing to write home about. The $42 steak frites was a big disappointment. Steaks were way past the cooking point we asked for, and the frites were very bland. Maybe other items on the menu are better but this was a huge miss.
We were expecting high quality food for the price point and it was average at best.

Food was good, could be more flavorful. Had the chilaquiles’s, presentation was good. It has an upscale vibe and we enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. The marina view is beautiful anytime of year. Staff was friendly. The restaurant is connected to the hotel, You can roam around and enjoy the view.

I really enjoyed my experience. The thing that really made this a good experience was the staff. The meal was pretty expensive at $74 for a glass of wine and a New York strip steak. The staff provided a complementary bottle of Perrier water and a cup of espresso because of some issues with my meal that they fixed. The staff was just attentive enough.
Now the downside for me were the steak was good, but not $44 good. I wish it was a little bit more rare having ordered, medium rare. The view as well was pretty good, but didn’t justify the restaurants expensive price. The resort overall is very nice in its position, but the restaurant itself faces south west, which is probably the more unattractive direction if you want to overlook San Diego.
I made a reservation for myself, but I don’t know whether or not you should make a reservation for this place. There were a number of empty tables when I came in at 7 PM. The restaurant was still busy enough.
Overall, I give it four stars. I would consider bringing an expensive date night here.

We had dinner here Thursday night. I can't believe that the reviews do not paint the whole picture. One this place the best onion soup I had othern than bistro 520 in Chicago who closed almost 20 years ago. The soup was exceptional. So deep in flavor. Perfect amount of crouton and cheese. The balance of the onions and the broth was perfectly executed. Our server recommended the coq à vin. We shared everything but this one I almost fought my partner for it. The sauce was so good thick and delicious on top of the puree potatoes. The vegetables were excellent. I can't really describe how good this was. One highlight for us was that the chicken was a good chicken that had some toughness that only comes from free range chickens that run free no the tender melting stuff you can get anywhere. So for us that was a bonus. Drinks were very good and again normally I don't make much fuss about the servers because we are all humans but he was attentive. Gave us great recommendations and he wasn't checking on us every second he let us eat and enjoy our meal. Oh and the cornbread he brought with that homemade butter to die for! I ask why the low reviews and we were told waiting time on the weekends could be long. But that is expected is a hotel. Please visit this place when you are in San Diego. As always we were starving and we eat and then we remember oh no pictures were taken.

Great food and views on patio, shrimp cocktail was amazing, very large shrimp, worth the price , free corn bread was very good , nice addition, service was poor as they were busy with a large group in room next to patio, so loud we almost asked them to close the door , French onion soup was good, the view made it worthwhile and the sunset was amazing, I recommend the restaurants in Gas Lamp district unless you are staying at resort , thank you.

I give two stars because the service was good. We went twice for breakfast while staying at the hotel. The first morning our experience with the hostess wasn't great as she seemed annoyed to have to put her phone down. The French toast was ok - kinda dry and bland - definitely not worth twenty some dollars. The coffee is really good. The second morning, the hostess said it would be a 30 minute wait despite the restaurant being maybe half full. We were seated in about 15 minutes and left maybe 40 minutes later with no sign of any food coming. In fact, no table had food. Our waiter was very gracious and apologetic. I guess it's a convenient restaurant but I would never go back.

Nice atmosphere, but the food is definitely not worth the price, and definitely not resort worthy. If you’re staying at the hotel, the grab and go cafe is your best bet.

My second night at the Lowe’s resort, we decided to have dinner at the Crown Landing. Our waiter was a guy named Renee. He knew the menu very well. With an appetizer caramelized brussels sprouts, and chose the special which is a pan seared Seabass and the New York strip steak dinner. The atmosphere was that incredible unfortunately it was a rainy day in Southern California. We did venture outside to take a picture of the patio with no one was sitting at, but it would be a beautiful place for dinner. We had a romantic evening. Enjoyed our food in return to our beautiful suite.

Easter Brunch, it was $95 per person plus a added gratuity in taxes
The food was amazing, however we had no service. We had to ask if we had a server and waited 15 minutes. He never cleared our dishes period or us more coffee.
We spent almost $1000.00 for 7 people and we had to pay a 20% gratuity for no service
We also went back that evening after family left , we were told that the manager Bill would call us. We never heard from Bill or anyone else.
It was just mind-blowing how we can pay that much money and not have proper service

I do not like leaving negative reviews, but the breakfast service at Crown Landing has been consistently disappointing. Yesterday morning, the manager Lucia was rude and confrontational, even though the staff was clearly not attentive. I ordered a white veggie omelette and please judge for yourself. I included pictures for you to look at!
We’ve been here many times, and while dinner service (especially with Anna her gorgeous chef) is excellent, mornings are slow, unfriendly, and not what you’d expect for the price.

We loved our server, Antonio. Great service, jolly disposition and good sense of humor. Knowledgeable about the menu and best of all, he had some good insider tips for dessert ;)
I’m giving three stars because my eggs were not bad. My issue is that I ordered four hard boiled eggs so that I could have two for breakfast and two for snacks throughout the day and I paid $14. I had to laugh. Also, it wasn’t really that busy and it took 25 minutes for me to get them. Pretty much stuck at the hotel and cant leave property and this is pretty much the only choice you have so they have you captive if you aren’t planning on going into town. Hard to believe they have so few restaurants to choose from at the Lowe’s Coronado.
