Had our wedding dinner in their private room
Great set up at the end of the restaurant in the Sunset room. You can close the doors and no one hears your music or speeches.
It seats up to 16 people. It was really nice. Our waiter Daniel was very nice and helpful.
My biggest complaint is the food. We had a prix fixe menu that guests could choose their main course. Many of us ordered the NY steak from the “large party” menu
All the guests said their steak arrived warm or just plain cold! And many of us got the wrong steak - meaning the way it was done - medium or rare etc.
For the price ( $ minimum + $500 room rental + tip) Each meal was $110 plus drinks. It was disappointing. Also they had said they would use crème colored napkins and tablecloth - instead it was grey with grey napkins. ( Not a happy look for a wedding )
The Crème Brule was delicious though. They reduced the parking rate to $12 ( reg about $50 for the day) for guests arriving on property for dinner.
As an aside -
Actually the food at the Loew’s was overall disappointing- except for the inside bar food.
The Cantina burrito was meh.

We stepped into the recently renovated restaurant without a reservation and received a warm welcome and inviting atmosphere that embraces marina views both indoors and out. One server was fantastic! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I tend to be weary of hotel restaurants, but every dish was thoughtful, flavorful and fresh. I enjoyed the beet salad, fresh focaccia, and house made bolognese. Our girls enjoy their salads and kids’ meals and my husband loved his fish dish. We returned for breakfast on the patio and it did not disappoint! The chilaquiles were amazing and the crème brûlée French toast was an incredible indulgent treat!

dinner at crown landing was great! chef ana created a new menu recently, and everything we tried was amazing, especially the salmon with saffron rice and the pistachio crème brûlée for dessert! she was also kind enough to check in on us personally and tell us a little bit more about the dishes! on top of this, the service and ambiance was top notch. this is more than just a hotel restaurant!!

Was the breakfast overpriced? Yes. But nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel/ resort setting. It was a solid omelet. Served hot, not overcooked. The cappuccino was also solid. Served hot, not watery. The atmosphere was fine. Very modern, but maybe leaves a little wanting for more adventurous decor given the price point of the restaurant. However the view of the marina certainly helps.
I mostly found the urge to leave a review because I thought my server, Andrea, was exceptional. She is such a hardworking, polite, and attentive young woman. I barely caught breakfast in the last 15 min but she still served me with a smile and ensured that I had a pleasant experience. Not sure how long she's been working in this industry but she definitely has a bright future in hospitality if that's the path she chooses to continue.

We went for brunch using the Resy perks on the AMEX Credit Card. And I will tell you this is now a repeat. This will be the spot we bring our family to when they visit, friends and casual brunches when the time permits. Our waiter was a complete sweetheart and I hope she serves us everytime we go from here on out!!

Great place for date night! Staff was friendly and really kind. Steak could have been softer. Loved the clam chowder soup & salmon.

We went here because we had a $100 Resy credit. We got here and the place was very pretty and had a lovely view of the sunset.
That’s about where the good things end. We got the jumbo shrimp and we got 5 shrimp for $24, and they were nothing to write home about. The $42 steak frites was a big disappointment. Steaks were way past the cooking point we asked for, and the frites were very bland. Maybe other items on the menu are better but this was a huge miss.
We were expecting high quality food for the price point and it was average at best.

Food was good, could be more flavorful. Had the chilaquiles’s, presentation was good. It has an upscale vibe and we enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. The marina view is beautiful anytime of year. Staff was friendly. The restaurant is connected to the hotel, You can roam around and enjoy the view.

I really enjoyed my experience. The thing that really made this a good experience was the staff. The meal was pretty expensive at $74 for a glass of wine and a New York strip steak. The staff provided a complementary bottle of Perrier water and a cup of espresso because of some issues with my meal that they fixed. The staff was just attentive enough.
Now the downside for me were the steak was good, but not $44 good. I wish it was a little bit more rare having ordered, medium rare. The view as well was pretty good, but didn’t justify the restaurants expensive price. The resort overall is very nice in its position, but the restaurant itself faces south west, which is probably the more unattractive direction if you want to overlook San Diego.
I made a reservation for myself, but I don’t know whether or not you should make a reservation for this place. There were a number of empty tables when I came in at 7 PM. The restaurant was still busy enough.
Overall, I give it four stars. I would consider bringing an expensive date night here.

We had dinner here Thursday night. I can't believe that the reviews do not paint the whole picture. One this place the best onion soup I had othern than bistro 520 in Chicago who closed almost 20 years ago. The soup was exceptional. So deep in flavor. Perfect amount of crouton and cheese. The balance of the onions and the broth was perfectly executed. Our server recommended the coq à vin. We shared everything but this one I almost fought my partner for it. The sauce was so good thick and delicious on top of the puree potatoes. The vegetables were excellent. I can't really describe how good this was. One highlight for us was that the chicken was a good chicken that had some toughness that only comes from free range chickens that run free no the tender melting stuff you can get anywhere. So for us that was a bonus. Drinks were very good and again normally I don't make much fuss about the servers because we are all humans but he was attentive. Gave us great recommendations and he wasn't checking on us every second he let us eat and enjoy our meal. Oh and the cornbread he brought with that homemade butter to die for! I ask why the low reviews and we were told waiting time on the weekends could be long. But that is expected is a hotel. Please visit this place when you are in San Diego. As always we were starving and we eat and then we remember oh no pictures were taken.

Great food and views on patio, shrimp cocktail was amazing, very large shrimp, worth the price , free corn bread was very good , nice addition, service was poor as they were busy with a large group in room next to patio, so loud we almost asked them to close the door , French onion soup was good, the view made it worthwhile and the sunset was amazing, I recommend the restaurants in Gas Lamp district unless you are staying at resort , thank you.

I give two stars because the service was good. We went twice for breakfast while staying at the hotel. The first morning our experience with the hostess wasn't great as she seemed annoyed to have to put her phone down. The French toast was ok - kinda dry and bland - definitely not worth twenty some dollars. The coffee is really good. The second morning, the hostess said it would be a 30 minute wait despite the restaurant being maybe half full. We were seated in about 15 minutes and left maybe 40 minutes later with no sign of any food coming. In fact, no table had food. Our waiter was very gracious and apologetic. I guess it's a convenient restaurant but I would never go back.

Nice atmosphere, but the food is definitely not worth the price, and definitely not resort worthy. If you’re staying at the hotel, the grab and go cafe is your best bet.
