False advertising! $1000 dollars for 4 people better be the best meal of my life. Nope. Goes down as one of the worst. The new way with these places now over promise and under deliver. Wasn’t even in the ballroom as advertised. No giant seafood buffet. Cold food. Blah sides and desserts.

The Thanksgiving Brunch was terrible, the food was cold and bland. The event was held in a large room that felt like it was a retirement home. The Crown Room was closed but they didn't tell you that until you arrived.

Mother's Day brunch of the past is no more! What an incredibly underwhelming buffet and experience! This was my first brunch since pre-Covid. I get inflation and all but the quality and the selections were minimal for 250 a person (w/taxes & gratuity prepaid). It really felt like a 50 dollar buffet. Minimal seafood options, proteins, salads, desserts and cheeses. For the value and standards that you would expect should be way higher! Not to mention the service? not even close to capacity ( I wonder why?) and no attentiveness to customers on water refills? Really? This wasn't even close to past Mother's day brunches or even a regular Sunday brunch for that matter! EPIC WASTE OF MONEY AND SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! Shame on you Hotel Del. Just go somewhere else... you will thank me.

We had Manuel as our server for a table of 7 people. Amazing service with a smile! Food was delicious with live music. Manuel got us everything we asked for and with a smile! Served us endless mimosas and coffee. Manuel had a good knowledge of the menu and gave us great service! Will definitely be coming back!

The Sunday brunch at Hotel Del Coronado is one of a kind. Their weekday brunch doesn’t serve the same food as the Sunday brunch, which includes a New York roast beef, a seafood bar featuring shrimp cocktail and smoked salmon, and the *best* waffles I’ve ever had before. Plus it serves all the usual breakfast items, and there’s an omelet station. The pastries are not dessert pastries, but they’re good too. What makes this place a killer though is the combo of the food plus the ocean view. If you get a reservation on a clear day, this might be the best buffet view in all of California, as a bunch of the other restaurants with ocean views no longer serve buffets due to Covid. Also, you’ll need to make a reservation if you do the Sunday brunch, as walk-ins are basically non-existent due to its popularity.

The room is enchanting and if you have time to go on one of the properties historic tours, do so before your special occasion in The Crown Room. It will make it all the more memorable.

This place is not open for business . We went there May to celebrate Mother's Day and employees said it has been closed for over a year

Went here years ago for my birthday for brunch. Easily some of the best food that I have had with top notch service in an elegant room. Yes it is expensive but considering everything you are getting, I didn't feel like it was a waste of money. Why -1? I agree with some of the reviews on the dress code. When you come dressed nicely for the occasion and see people dressed like they are going to get groceries it does kill the vibe quite a bit. While there is a dress code, their policy is very loose. I don't normally eat at restaurants that are this much $$$ so yeah I'm dressing up vs looking like I don't care. I'm having a small group event in the future and easily would have done brunch in TCR, but seeing someone in a tank top and flip flops is enough of a reason to not have a reception here. To me if they are going to be this casual maybe have something where once a month it's a black tie enforced brunch. I'm guessing the reasons why it is not enforced is due to Gen X changing the norms of how you dress in the workplace, and fear of a customer suing for discrimination. The times we are living in =/

Best brunch I've ever been to. Has a hefty price tag but I truly felt the value in the price I paid. There is so much to try so make sure to pace yourself. Everything is good quality, prepared well and tastes amazing. Drink as many mimosas as you can.

We will come here when we have family come in from out of town. Its good, I just don't eat much so I never feel like I get my money's worth. Still a fun experience and the kids love it.

This was, without a doubt, the best brunch I have ever had. Worth every penny.First of all - donut bar! Taht was just love at first sight. Expect an enormous fish on display (at least pre-Covid). Other highlights included bacon in my bloody mary, short rib, lobster mac and cheese, and a plethora of assorted cheese. Did I mention the unlimited champagne? Our server was cool and let us stay with a bottle after hours as they packed up. You better believe they got a great tip.Due to the price, brunch at The Crown Room may not be an option for everybody but if you can swing it, you should.
