Always a lovely experience when we come to  ill Fornaio This time was extra fun because our friends were available to come join us, management always stops by to greet us and say hello, and the guys on the line and at the bar always love it when we walk by and let them know how much we appreciate what they did to make dinner for us! They know we mean it! We love Il Fornaio and Luca is probably the best manager of a restaurant ever!! We know that because of how the staff treats us and everybody else. Everyone who comes into Coronado I'll Fornaio has a fantastic dining experience.

I wish we could give a better review. Our original server took our drink and food order. She disappeared without a word and our food eventually delivered. My husband had to find a server who could add some parm to our dish. We thought perhaps there was a shift change but would have expected a polite handoff to who would take over. It was our 40th anniversary, a “happy anniversary” card was placed on our table, but absolutely no mention past the host station.

Very impressed by the service, the food and the ambience. Equally impressed that Restaurant was incredibly busy and they had enough staff to take care of people and move them to their tables . Serve the food and no one was inconvenienced. Would definitely visit this restaurant again.

I made mention on my reservation it was a birthday... no mention from anyone.. Seated us right next to people on a patio that was wide open... Asked to move got moved next another place next to people.. We were never offered dessert maybe you were out... Your service has been off since 2020 but we have continued to celebrate my wife's birthday there because she loves it! But I bet no one even cares...

The food has always been consistent but over the last two years service has gotten worse. Last night may have been the worst yet. While the waiter thanked us for our patience once as we never complained, the service never changed after the waiter acknowledged that service was not up to par. While we likely will give it another try as we have been coming here since the restaurant opened many years ago.
