A gem of a restaurant in a very touristy town. The menu was simple, meaning the quality of food really shone. To start the oysters and Peruvian shallops were fantastic. The pork chop and loup de outstanding. Service was attentive yet not overly hovering. Dessert and wine also complemented the evening. Overall the simplistic ambience and outstanding menu was a welcome repose from chain restaurants. Highly recommend!

Delicious food but was looking for some vegetables to accompany our food choices. We had the pork and fish and both were delicious. Our order took more than an hour to receive. Our waiter checked in with us near the end of the hour to let us know we were close. Wine kept us pretty content. The beet salad was great but not as big as expected based on the $19 price.

Highly recommend taking the plunge on the, "Trust the Chef" seven-course tasting menu - and do get the wine paring as well if you drink alcohol. You won't be disappointed with either. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in the last 20 years that I can remember. While the presentation was amazing we were too busy actually enjoying the food to take photos. Imagine that?!
Start to finish this was an exquisite meal. This is #1 on my "must visit" list for my next trip back to San Diego.

This place needs a lot of work. The service is weak, low staffed. The food once it finally comes out after we waited 45 minutes for our apps, is delicious. The portions are so small with a very small kitchen. After 1.75 hours our entrees came out cold, and what was suppose to be 16oz steak was maybe 7oz sliced like an appetizer. We told them to take it off our bill and we were leaving. This ruined our date night out, we had to find another reliable restaurant to eat dinner. The room also has zero decor after a year + you would think they would make a trip to Cost Plus for SOMETHING.

So so good. The service was amazing. My favourites are the bread (omg) and the pork shoulder. We dived in so fast I forgot to take all photos. I look forward to come back every time I’m in town!

Incredible dining experience last weekend - I celebrated my birthday with girlfriends and made a first visit to Jolie. Cannot recommend enough, everything we ordered was beyond expectation and we all left saying “by far the best restaurant on the island.” Special thank you to the “Jacks” for exceptional service.

I was in the area for a work conference but my time here made it feel like vacation. The food is next level! Masterful flavor combinations, varied texture, and artful plating. The Peruvian scallop is about as close as I’ve come to food perfection. Pair that with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, unassuming atmosphere, solid wine list, fair prices, and adequate portions and you have something truly special. I cannot believe there wasn’t more competition for a table or a larger bill. When this place gets discovered they’re gonna blow up.
