After spending almost 100 bucks just for 2 adults n 1 child was hoping to have something really good for the first time , we got a brisket sandwich that was ok not the best,a Texas potato that tastes like a tuna potato nasty and a order of mac n cheese with fries that has tasted like oil that hasn't been changed, after eating here be ready to be in the bathroom for the rest of the day n night , will not be coming back here
By far the worst example of bbq. I've ever had. I ordered the so called smoked potatoe and it was dry and flavorless. I also ordered ribs and brisket both had no flavor. Neither had touched a grill or smoker. The ribs were boiled and finished in the oven. I say this due to the fact I've smoked meat for 30+ yrs. I had to ask for bread and offered to pay for they no it's free and gave me 1 slice for a slab of ribs and lbs. Of brisket. So don't waste your time save your 💰

I tried to order a Mexicali Frappe at 7:48pm, she tells me, I'm sorry we already clean the machine, I tell her, don't you close at 8:30? She responded, we already clean the machine. If you going to stop selling cold products early, why don't you put a sign or close early. It was a hot night and there were still customers arriving to your place. So you stop selling cold products because you clean your machines early, hmm. 🤔 Thank you.

We just I left this place, got home, opened our Corn Fritters. Unfortunately there was not one single piece of corn in the corn fritter the brisket was pretty good a little on the dry side. The jalapeno sausage was pretty good as were the ribs. Sauces were also great, but the Corn Fritters were what we were looking forward to. I spent over a hundred dollars in this place and was disappointed to get home and had a container full of bread with not a single pieces of corn. Extremely disappointed 😞

This is seriously some of the worst BBQ ive ever had. People are nice, service is fine, but the food is almost inedible. I really have to wonder how you mess up smoking bbq this bad. It was bar-none, the driest brisket ive ever touched. Please don't waste your money here, it's incredibly bad.

We had the brisket sandwich, piggy fries and the big combo platter with potato salad and smoked macaroni salad. All the meat was super tender and moist. Very delicious. The potato salad was the only thing that we would pass on. But every thing else was really good. The prices were great. The staff were so sweet, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back

Great place in a great location right off the ferry pier of Coronado Island. Had the large brisket and coleslaw slaw. Plenty of food! Good taste, good atmosphere and great people watching.
Had this on our way home from vacation and now I wanna go back

Very disappointed to have a Groupon that was not honored due to the Groupon being tied to an e-gift card company called Synergy. Restaurant says they have no way to redeem them. That’s just bad business so I hope the owner pulls these down so no one else wastes money to try this restaurant out.
