My friend and I enjoyed our lunch with a 1pm reservation. The staff were really delightful. They were busy and working hard but remained pleasant and professional. Jorge was great! Our food was beautifully presented/plated, not fussy but lovely. The herb omelette and duck confit salad were yummy. All in all we had a lovely time.
If you don't eat meat, you are very limited for happy hour which we didn't realize would be happening when we booked. It was fine with kids side salad to their burgers and cheese plate. Everything was delicious And server very nice
We saw this place on Instagram and immediately decided to make a day trip to San Diego from Orange County. Cute Bistro. When ordering our lunch, we asked the waitress to leave one menu as we'd be ordering pastries once our meal was finished. I had the smoked salmon tartine. Portion was large. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and moist but there was so much it over powered the base, making it soggy. The smoked salmon was sparse and then covered in creme fraise, completely losing the flavor of the salmon. The salad with it was crispy and perfectly dressed. My friend had the shrimp and grapefruit salad. Appearance wise, it looked unappealing, however, the dressing was delish and she enjoyed it. My other friend ordered the short rib hash. It was not good. So bland she had to ask for salt and even that couldn't save it. We all tasted it and agreed it was a two thumbs down dish. We also ordered mimosas which were good and one glass of wine. Two sips in my friend was like “this is yucky”. We both tried it and yes, it was definitely bad. Did I mention service was slow? Because it took about ten mins to even get our servers attention to reorder a different wine. She had blinders on at every turn. Took forever to order. Our dirty plates sat on the table for over 20 mins. We even moved them to the side. But the worst part - when it was time to order the pastries - we're told they had just SOLD OUT! Not of just one item but two. We came all this way, our server knew our plans, and whomp whomp.
Got lucky and was seated outside, nice to enjoy the food and be able to people watch. The hot chocolate was definitely a fun experience-so rich, creamy and it changed the croissant into something even more delicious. Everything is pretty pricey but the quality of the food and service makes it worth it.
I tried the hot chocolate in a croissant and it was AMAZING! The staff also was so attentive. I brought my dog and they were so welcoming with her as well. I also tried the beef sandwich with the broth and was DELICIOUS! Overall, 100% recommended.
I saw this place on Instagram and went for the viral hot cocoa in a croissant cup. Silly me didn’t realize that I should have made a reservation. When we got there all the reservations were booked for the day. I decided to just order to go. However I really wanted the experience and saw there was a small table that no one was sitting at. I asked the waitress if we could sit there while we waited for our order and she happily obliged. Her name was Hailey. She went above and beyond to make us as comfortable as possible even though we didn’t have a reservation. The hot cocoa was literally the best I’ve ever had and my friend ordered a banana pastry that she said was to die for. I live in Riverside, but I plan on driving the 100 miles back just to go here.

Been here a few times already and everytime has been consistent in quality and service. The service is extremely nice and gives frequent checks and the food has been really good every single time. I recently got the hot chocolate and its extremely indulgent, definitely meant to be shared. I personally do not like it in the croissant (a little gimmicky for me) to drink from but that does not take away from the quality of both products. Its on the pricey side but worth the money. The baked goods are always exceptional so definitely get at least one to try.

Wow I am disappointed. The price for the food and you can’t even get basic customer service. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of attentiveness and service from the waiters. The way they talk to you is extremely off putting and unwelcoming. The food was somewhat authentic however when you are waiting for your server to come back after 20 minutes and they talk to all the tables around you and turn your back to you while you are wanting dessert it is unprofessional. I should have listened to the numerous other comments about poor customer service.

Staff definitely have preferences when sitting visitors treating them racist. Host told us their waiting line is 2 hours, and then suddenly changed their mind and bring us one of the tables outside event tho all of the tables inside were empty without reservation letters.

Made a reservation for my husband's 60th bday brunch. From the first smile when we walked in to the server and the young girl refilling our water this place is spectacular. We had the crepe, the pumpkin soup, the quiché and lattes. All super delicious!
