Amazing service! We sat outside and the weather was gorgeous! The food was amazing. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.
No wait either time we went here.
Appetizers are just okay. Note on the nachos: the menu says melted cheese but it is cheese sauce. Had I known it was cheese sauce I would have passed.
Split a great bottle of Sauvignon Blanc with my friends.
The Shepherd's pie is amazing!
Live music inside on the weekends.
Didn't try the food, had a delicious mule.
I've been here a few times but it's first time that I had food. I was disappointed. We ordered a shepherds pie to share. They were nice enough to split it into two but with extra charges that we were not aware of. The flavor was good but it’s very salty. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich but my son only ate a quarter of it because it was dry. I was very disappointed when they brought out a bowl of boxed mac n cheese! That’s a huge disappointment to me. We also ordered fries with Guinness gravy off the happy hour menu. The price was great and the fries were good, however the gravy wasn’t anything special and it’s very salty as well.
That said, this is prob a place for drinks but not food. The bar area is unique and that’s prob the only thing that seems appealing for me. There are other better bars to check out in the area.
Good lunch stop for fish and chips
Fun Pub in the heart of Coronado Island. While the inside is has a lot of character like its seating, the outdoor area is where it's at. Ample seating and fire pits outside with TV for any sports occasions. I went for my usual Guinness and although I didn't get to try the food, locals have told me it's a great selection to choose from. Even without the inclusion of food, service was quick and responsive. Best part of this location is the short, walking distance from the beach. Worth the visit!
My favorite Navy Seal Bar. I go there every time I am there from NY. Had the Mulligan Stew, it was so good. Wait staff were fantastic.

McP’s Irish Pub delivers a great experience for anyone looking for good food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. The pub has a cozy yet upbeat vibe, with friendly staff and live music that really brings the place to life.
The menu is a nice mix of traditional Irish dishes and pub favorites. The shepherd’s pie was flavorful and satisfying. Their beer selection is average, with a few Irish classics and local options to choose from.
The only downside is that the place can get very crowded, especially on weekends, which sometimes slows down service. However, the staff is attentive and does their best to keep up with the hustle and bustle.
Overall, McP’s is a solid spot for a night out or a casual meal. It’s a place I’d recommend to friends and plan to visit again soon!

Went in for a couple drinks & snacks. Love the options & ambiance, however, our waitress Hannah H. was so rude & awful. Her bad attitude was unprofessional & unnecessary. We hope next time we get a better server.
