We have been enjoying Miguel's for years while attending conferences at the Del. They are a quick walk in a secluded spot. A hidden gem. The food is excellent and much more reasonable than on resort. They have gluten free and vegan options galore and the drinks are wonderful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miguel's Cocina in Coronado is a Mexican food paradise! Vibrant patio, killer tacos, and that addictive jalapeño white sauce. Jorge, our server, was a superstar—warm, funny, and spot-on with recs. Food’s fresh, prices fair (~$15-25/entree). A must-visit gem!

Spent almost a week in San Diego and Miguel‘s had the best Mexican food we had, by far. Tried this location along with the one in the Marina. Both locations get high marks all around (the taquitos, 3 taco sampler and the enchiladas rocked). Margaritas are a must-have. Will certainly come back next time we’re in San Diego.

Such amazing food! Every dish I’ve tried here is packed with flavor, and the portion sizes are always generous, making it a great value. The ingredients feel fresh, and the recipes strike the perfect balance of traditional and bold flavors. What really sets this place apart, though, are the margaritas—the mango margarita in particular is one of the best I’ve ever had from any Mexican restaurant. It’s perfectly balanced, refreshing, and just the right level of sweetness and tang. Between the incredible food, hearty portions, and outstanding drinks, this has easily become my favorite Mexican restaurant. I always leave satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit!

Visited Miguel’s Cocina on Coronado Island — beautiful ambiance and great location! We had the vegetarian enchiladas and sopes; both were tasty and nicely presented. Service was friendly and attentive, though the food was about average overall. The atmosphere really makes the experience worth it, especially if you’re sitting outdoors.
