We also enjoy dining at Nado Republic. The food is always outstanding. We shared a nice red wine, the bread basket, a lovely spinach salad, and the mushroom-sausage pizza. All good!
Loved the vibe nice and Cozy place with many fun design touches . The food was amazing we had the lasagna and the gnocchi Asiago and truffle the pasta is simply the best in San Diego . We ended up with homemade tiramisu presented in a Martini cup soo good
Had a great time here with friends! The calamari was just okay. But the drinks, bread and pasta were great! Plus we got some limoncello to drink on the house after our meal!
Would recommend.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff and owners make you feel so welcome. The food is amazing, true Italian comfort food, from the meatballs to the gnocchi! Save room for the tiramisu.
Bread in a plastic bowl half sliced. Olive oil very poor quality not tasting like it was. Server dropped it off and ran away literally not even giving us a chance to ask where was the sides we asked for the bread.
Gnocchis were more like mashed potatoes balls not the right shape not the dish texture

Decent Italian. A touch over salted. The lasagna noodles were overdone and the bolognese had no subtlety, but the truffle gnocchi was good.
Very disappointed in the fact that their menu is misleading. $12 vodka. But what they don't say is that is for 1 oz. There isn't a drink served with 1 oz. A $6 up charge for a martini. But they didn't tell us that. And $6 for olives ? Why didn't they give us the option. We would have skipped the olives. It's not necessarily about the money. It felt deceitful. The manager had a major attitude. Well this is a restaurant ? Really. And we hand stuff the olives . Ok. Then publish the “real” prices. We won't be going back.
Delicious food and wine, amazing cocktails, great service, cozy ambiance and close to home. What more can you ask for? Chef Giorgio did ravioli filled with slow braised short rips as a special. My husband was in heaven. We shared a Burrata with arugula and cherry tomatoes first. Always a winner. I'm not a big pizza fan. Only exception are Giorgio's! I had the special one with arugula, prosciutto and burrata on top (not on the menu!) and it's mouth watering, with a perfect crunch and very fresh ingredients. Now it's no longer a square and served on a board , like in Roma, but a pie and I enjoyed it a lot. Enzo is a savvy waiter, recommended us good choices and gave us excellent service. We'll be back soon !
Arlo was our server. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a good time and the food was delivered hot and in good time. We ordered a big variety. Definitely get the Brulata appetizer. Delicious and fresh. The Rigatoni in pink sauce, yummy and the Lamb Chops, excellent. The calamari breading was not the best a the gnocchi was very starchy. Overall a great experience. We will come back. Oh, also Lemoncello cake and liquor is made in house and it's very good to round off the meal!
First time here, meatballs are very good but pizza was lacking. Service was super friendly and lovely with our baby. Might be more fun at night for drinks?

My dad took me here for our annual Christmas dinner. First off no items are complementary...water is $3.50 a glass, we were even charged $1 for butter! My dad had spaghetti and meatballs. He had two meatballs for $6.00 a piece that lacked flavor, and they mixed the tomato sauce with the noodles. I had pesto noodles that were tasty, but were cold in sections leading me to believe they were fresh from the microwave. The service was good, the restaurant is crowded with tables but cute, and in a great location.

We arrived early and after 5 mins of waiting we asked if the reservation was ready. We were told that they were but it would be "a while". The employee then went away for "a while" and when they arrived, they began a drawn out conversation with a waiter. They were gossiping about how they didn't appreciate one of the employees. After another "a while of waiting for them to finish, we were seated. In the back. Past multiple open tables. With a duct taped space heater. The employees came by multiple times to retape the defective space heater ( it was around 55°F outside ). The menus had brown stains on them. However, the service from the waiters was fantastic. They arrived quickly with orders and were helpful with choosing what to order.
We ordered the meat of the day Pork Belly. The presentation was good but the taste. Not. So. Much. The pork was burnt mimicking a dry, unflavoured, brittle piece of bacon. The bread was cold and dry. The butter was hard and frozen. The spicy margarita was good. This was on New Years Eve. Not impressed with the cleanliness.
Vegetarian options: Bread.
Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of cheese products.

Food fine. Atmosphere too clubby. But how is it possible that a restaurant this size has one single gender neutral bathroom. 7 people in line. Definitely won’t be back.

Unacceptable experience. First time my boyfriend and I have ever sent food back. The calamari and pizza were worse than fast food versions. The pizza tasted like digorno and the calamari was likely premade frozen front Costco. Server said chicken milanese was the best, but it was flavorless fried chicken with no sauce. There are so many good reviews on google for this restaurant but we are so thoroughly confused as to why. It was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. Please don’t trust the 4 star reviews, they’re not true.
