Amazing little Gem tucked away in the heart of Coronado island. The steak, pork and fish tacos were out of this world. So much flavor so much attention to detail in the culinary world. It happened to be Tuesday which made the fish tacos $2.00 and the steak and pork $2.99. Talking to the owner for a minute I could feel the dedication and passion for his art. The kitchen was spotless and so was the bathroom. Let’s not forget the cold brew coffee that was so smooth and delicious. Hats off to you boys!

We went there this morning while visiting SD and we went over to Coronado and chose this place after seeing great Google reviews and it lived up to the hype! Everything the cook was making on the griddle looked really good and the entrees we chose tasted great!

What a great find! Is close from NASNI and the food is really good! Sitting by the bar is very comfortable and the cook is attentive and will help out the waitress while she tends to the patio customers. Their menu has a bit for everyone to enjoy and seeing it being made in front of you adds to the experience

Well it was our first time at this little Cafe. It was our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere new we've never been. First we were seated at a table that still had spilled milk or coffee on the table. The table was filthy. But no one cleaned it until about 10 minutes later when I asked the server to clean it. Then she asked what I wanted to drink. I said coffee and water. She only brought my coffee but she never asked my husband what he wanted to drink. And it took another 10 minutes to get my coffee. We order and automatically tried to upsell us. Not an honest way of doing things. She asked my husband if he wanted bacon or sausage, he said he didn't want those sides. Well, out comes his sandwich with bacon. She also asked me how I want my eggs. My meal doesn't come with eggs. So another opportunity to upsell eggs I didn't even want. Then when it's time to pay she gives us a total. Doesn't give us a receipt so no way of disputing the extra charges. Unfortunately we chose the wrong restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. $50 for biscuits and gravy and an egg sandwich. Plus HORRIBLE service. Never again. Beware of the upselling at this place.

Had a delicious breakfast burrito and did the fun mimosa flight! Their waitlist online tool is awesome and saved us from waiting a long time at the restaurant. Would definitely go back.

Just glad they are still here, lots of memories. These places are a dying breed, especially in Nado where everything goes to the highest bidder and city counsel allows mid-rise mixed use/higher density.Hope they stay for a long time, places like this are what give Coronado a sparkle/character. Coronado - where billionaires are buying out the millionaires. The salty charm is slowing fading, but this little gem still shines.

Dinner last night was INCREDIBLE! I don't usually write reviews, but this one is worth it!! My husband had both the grilled fish tacos and battered fish tacos, he asked if we could come back today! I had the club, I would absolutely order that again! The chips and salsa were also divine! Note: our kids LOVED their meals, but they do not specifically have a kids menu. We didn't have an issue with it as they pretty much licked their plates clean, but if you have several kids it could get pricey. We're only here 2 nights but I could see us stopping here for a 2nd meal this trip!
