Well, I was standing in line waiting to order, There were flies with the PASTRIES, and when I received my avocado, egg white bagel, it had a metal taste to it. Not a good experience

The freshness of my sandwich was great. I got the chipotle chicken and avocado sandwich. The sandwich it self lacked flavor but the quality of the bread was appreciated. The vibe and freshness of this location is why I highly recommend it. It’s also close to many stores and the beach. I’ll come in for a pasty on my next visit they look yummy.
This is my second time eating at Panera Bread, both times at this location in Coronado. The first time, I got some sort of chicken sandwich, and wasn't impressed, especially since anytime I've heard anyone mention the place, they seem to rave abouthow good it is.. sorry, but I can probably easily name a dozen places off the top of my head to get a better chicken sandwich that has a ton more flavor.This next visit, my girlfriend and I got the two halves deal, we picked the Fuji apple salad, and a half of a turkey bacon avocado sandwich on sourdough. My girlfriend's Mom also got the Fuji apple salad. Everything was fresh enough, just very bland, and not very good, and we had to ask for more dressing because both our salads basically had no dressing on them. The Sandwich was edible, even though the bacon was soggy.. but the turkey and avocado seemed to be legit. The beverage machine was broken and had no ice, so all the drinks including water and tea were warm, which was pretty lame, and we shouldn't have been charged for the drink. But the biggest buzzkill was the price; $23 for half of a mediocre, dry salad, half of a subpar sandwich and a warm Dr. Pepper? For that price I would expect to be able to split a really good burger and a couple of beers at a happy hour, so, sorry Panera Bread, not even worth it.

All of their baked goods near the counter are uncovered (bagels, cookies, and other pastries) and I've seen big flies landing on the food several different visits. It's gross. I won't eat here anymore because of it.

Everyone at this Panera location is so nice! I love all the staff, they are always very friendly. I use the rapid pick up on the app mostly. The breakfast sandos are delicious and imho very well priced for what you get. I love having the SIPs Club. It's a bargain, it's only 5$ a month right now on promotion until Jan 24*. The inside of the store is always clean and well maintained. Thanks Panera!!
