We went here to surprise our friend with a birthday celebration, she thought it was just dinner. Every step of service was incredible. Each staff member made us all feel special & taken care of. Huge shoutout to Tony for taking such good care of us & teaming up with us to make it special. I had the Chilean Sea Bass meal & it was phenomenal. I will be craving & dreaming of it for years to come. All the cocktails, apps, and dessert were also extraordinary. Thank you Team Peohe’s!!!

This has always been one of our favorite places in the world. Including Paris and Rime... We did family special occasions at Peohes and many romantic lunches and dinners for me and my husband through many years of our 71 together ❤️ my Jerry moved to heaven in 2022 so I have just returned from FL to San Diego to live near my big family and plan to lunch there soon.

Kitchen Calamari was amazing...had to order a second after finishing the first. Service was slow but not a problem.

All I had were drinks. $65 total, a bit pricey, but I was on vacation so why not?

The food was over priced and cold. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. Only got 4 slices of steak. Looked equivalent to 1/4 of an average sized steak. My steak was cold. Sent it back to get warmed up and it got returned over cooked with cold eggs and potatoes. Ordered an enligh muffin to go along with my steak and eggs. You would think it would come with toast. Was charged $5 for a cold undercooked English muffin that I didn’t end up eating. I definitely wouldn’t recommend spending $30-$36 on 3oz of steak two eggs and potatoes.

This is not a normal dog friendly place however because they were slow and my dogs were in a stroller, they allowed me to sit in the lounge area next to the bar. The hostess was very friendly as was my waiter. But the food experience was less than desirable. The crab cakes had no flavor and were covered in so much batter. There was more batter than was crab meet. I expressed my disappointment to the waiter who apologized. My main order was sea bass in Pinot noir sauce and another total disappointment. It was rubbery and had a strong fishy taste. The Asparagus it came with was also under cooked. Between the Crab Cake and Sea Bass was $80. The most over priced poor quality meal I’ve ever had and that’s why I rate a one star regardless of good service.

Since being in San Diego, we have had great food. But this place is the easily the best meal that we've had since we were in town. The atmosphere of this place is elegant and professional. The ocean decor, soft music, and stunning views makes this a great place for a date. The staff were fun and professional and tended to a table of 9 with no problem or issues. The star of the show looks, however, was the amazing food. We had 4 of their sushi rolls which were amazing. You can tell from the pictures how beautiful the views are from the restaurant. I was fortunate enough to catch the sun setting. Please go and try this place you will not regret it.

As a former chef I have to say this. We ordered the pu pu platter. The coconut shrimp were decent, as was the Thai chicken spring roll. All made in advance of our visit as was the rest of it. The Lobster California roll was made hours before and was terrible. The shrimp cocktail shrimp were probably cooked the day before and were mushy. The lobster bisque was fishy and salty. Great view, what a shame the food was subpar.

The restaurant location is great, waterfront. The server was attentive. Where the restaurant fell short was the food. Ordered the combo appetizer and the rice on the sushi and poke was hard. The crusted salmon was very dry. Just not a good experience with the food.
