We walked in to the place after walking by, were seated at the bar, and served delicious food. Unfortunately, our sushi order was initially wrong. At the end, we had to ask the bar tender Chloe for the check and also prompt her to take our credit card multiple times even though it was not busy at that time. We left an okay tip despite this. However, when reviewing the credit card statement, we were overcharged for the tip.

Saiko is a unique experience in Coronado. Their use of fresh seafood makes a huge impact on the already mouth watering food selection. My friend and I sat on the patio with our dogs which was very nice. You can enjoy a view of the canal a block away. Drinks were fantastic with a fun list of sake flights. They know their stuff and service was great! Definitely coming back.

I’ve been here three times. The sushi is always great and the service is even better. The rolls are made fresh so it can be a wait but well worth it. I’m always amazed with the friendliness of the staff. I think the majority of the staff wished me a happy birthday even though we only mentioned it to the hostess.

Called them twice to make reservations. BOTH times I was put on hold and left there for over 10 minutes without a pick up. Can’t rate the food but I am thinking it must be great because they obviously don’t need new customers.

This is the BEST Sushi in Southern California, in my opinion.Fresh, can be customized if needed ( dietary) or wanted. The staff was phenomenal, with fantastic personalities.The space is small, intimate with table and bar space.Dietary restrictions: Easily adapted for gluten free, I had crab and yellowtail roll with gluten free sauce. It was Fantastic
