We had dinner and brunch the next day. Everything was perfect. Our waiter was attentive and was helpful with the menu. We had a great time. I ordered the octopus to share and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly cooked and came with delicious gnocchi. She ordered the steak with blue crab topping. Also perfect! We had to take a bit home. I ordered the turnover for desert to share. I really enjoyed the turnover. The brunch had just about everything you could want (They don't have crab legs).I do miss the old Hotel Del Coronado brunch they used to have. That brunch has been shut down since COVID.

For such a beautiful hotel, and price of the entrees, the restaurant just had no warmth or ambience. We were expecting at least tablecloths. The tables were patio type. The pork chop we ordered medium, and one had to be sent back because it was actually rare. But it was delicious after all, but then one of us had nothing to eat until it was re served. Also the menu when we got there did not have many of the entrees we saw on the on line menu. Our server was very attentive and friendly, and apologetic. Unfortunately, we would have been happier with the bar menu where we sat for a drink before dinner.
Cody was amazing and helpful. Guided us through the menu and was attentive. Same with his support team member. We live in the island and it was our first time at sheerwater! We will definitely be back!
2 friends and I celebrated New Year's Eve with an early dinner here. The hotel grounds were crowded with people enjoying the lights and ice skating. We. had a table tucked away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed a leisurely evening. The food and wine is pricier than I normally enjoy, but the service and atmosphere were worth it. The server did not rush us which was much appreciated. This may become a special event tradition.
Spectacular surroundings at a lovely resort. We came for brunch and the options were amazing. However be prepared to pay for the ambiance! Brunch buffet had everything from a crepe and omelette station, to prime rib and shrimp cocktail and everything in between. Delicious but very pricey.
I had a great time with my team in this restaurant but the food was quit unsatisfying.

This is an awesome spot for brunch or any other meal. Super scenic and tons of character. Loved it. Brunch is expensive but just try to forget about that and enjoy the experience. 1 of a kind.
We have been coming to Christmas Eve brunch at Hotel Del's Sheerwater for many years. This year, we were surprised to find valet parking unavailable for non- hotel guests, so parking elsewhere was pricey and further away. Food was very good, per usual, but the re-stocking of items were delayed. I was also surprised by the increase in brunch price as well as mimosa up charges. They shouldn't cost as much as they did. Overall, we love Hotel Del's Sheerwater but would advise future guests to watch the charges.
Dog friendly, amazing service, and delicious food!! We wish it was a little more affordable but the food was incredible. Our server Cody was amazing and treated us and our puppy like family!
the salad was just terrible the flavor was horrendous the steak ordered medium well after waiting 20 minutes finally came blood dripping rare love the hotel but this dinner meaql was terrible

We were expecting an exceptional meal but what we received was over cooked and over salty , our waiter was very attentive at the start until a table of 10 took all his attention . Way too costly for the so so experience .
Pricey, but as long as you know that going in, then it shouldn't deter you. The Crab Cake is amazing. One of the best we ever had, so much so that we came back again, just for the crab cake. Everything is made to order. I had the Strip Steak, and it was cooked to perfection, but I felt like it could have used a sauce of some sort. Maybe that's just me. The peppercorn butter was good, but felt like it wasn't quite enough for the size of the steak. The star of the experience was our server, Sokol, who was the epitome of excellence. Highly recommend having reservations, especially in the winter time when the skating rink is open.
Not the best experience from a menu and pricing perspective. $15 for a loaf of bread, $34 for ONE crab cake, and $24 per Baja wedge salad. I know it's the Del- but a bit on the expensive side.
The food was very expensive for what it was. Who charges $22 for French fries. Out of 9 of us only 7 liked their dinner , we had a sweet server but he truly wasn't up for fine dining service. They forgot 2 main ingredients in 2 of our entrees and we had to ask for them to be brought out. I would never come back here again which is a bummer as the location is great.
I completely understand that anything at the Hotel Del is going to be expensive, but we didn't even drink any alcohol and I might have to get a second job to recover the costs :-). Our server was really great, and the ambiance was cool, especially at the holidays, so I don't want to complain. I would love to come back, but there are other places with great food and ambiance that are a much better value IMO.
