If you're at the Hotel Del Coronado and go downstairs to the shops you will smell this store from down the hallways. This is a must stop while visiting. Brought my family in here. My kids always go crazy like the saying goes "kids in a candy store" but it's really my husband who enjoys himself the most. He tends to grab a fudge or chocolate truffle of some kind each time. During the holidays, this place is all decked out. I see red, red everywhere, red packaging, red sections, red Santa's, red reindeer, red candies, plus their store is red with the signature dog logos. There's a kids section that my sons went crazy for. I met them chose one toy candy item, the rest are usually shared scooped candies. Of course they found the non holiday, PEZ semi truck pack and gummy hamburger they got a kick out of. There's 1 red table outside the exit outside to enjoy your treats. It's December and they are still doing construction outside so the space is very limited. They carry a lot of unique finds as well known as popular candy brands. There's truly something for everyone in here no matter how big how small. The ladies were really nice who worked here and the shop was clean and inviting.

Every time I visit Hotel Del, I MUST visit speechless! They have my all time favorite truffles from sweet shop USA. They are so big and have new flavors every time. I also love to get the John Kelly chocolates and try whatever else looks new or appealing. If you're a chocoholic like me, you can't skip this place. It is a little pricy but look where you are. Nothing is gonna be cheap. They have cute gifts as well. The employees have always been pretty friendly and helpful.

Not a fan! Everything was SO SO SO SO sweet. Like disgustingly sweet. And it didn't taste that fresh either. We threw both purchases out after just a bite. Super cute inside but the taste needs to deliver, and it didn't!

Charming candy shop with large handmade truffles, wide selection of confectionaries, and friendly service.
$12 for a pre cut square of butter pecan fudge. It tasted fresh and it was good, but I wouldn't buy it again because it wasn't great. Also purchased an individual caramel candy and it wasn't good. They had a 50% off section with Halloween candy. Definitely worth the buy, but everything else is a bit overpriced.
