They charged me $36 for two popsicles and a small gelato and did not provide a receipt while also asking for a 30% tip. I’m certain they charged me for 4 items vs 3 - what an unethical establishment.

No samples is crazy! Below average gelato with insane prices. Then they have the audacity to fill the cup halfway. Go somewhere else for your ice cream, don’t get trapped.

Our family loved the gelato! Also, the service was excellent. The gentleman at the register was very patient with the young lady in front of us. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

I'll echo the reviews regarding the ice cream being subpar for the area and more expensive. Not very family friendly as I saw the cashier treat the two mothers in front of me very rudely even while one had a small child while pregnant. There are better places back in SD with better customer service and better tasting treats.

Overpriced, unfriendly and incompetent workers. They didn't know what gelato I was trying order (even though it is clearly stated on the menu.) The cashier was incredibly condescending when I tried to modify my order (without a cone) and pay. I said to them just throw away the cone. The cashier got annoyed that my debit card didn't have a tap feature because I inserted my card. I had to explain that my card had no tap feature. I gave another star because the gelato was good otherwise, 1-star, do nor recommend. Gelato is a dime a dozen on Coronado Island.

Total ripoff. The sundaes were nothing more than 3 bites of ice cream and all the fudge sitting at the bottom of the cup. Wouldn't recommend.
Please be careful and get a printed receipt. The young man working the counter added a very large tip to my credit card without my authorization.
Small gelato shop at the hotel del. it's a must place to visit!
