I really enjoyed this spot.. went for breakfast. Note: European breakfast is nothing like American breakfast so don't expect pancakes eggs and bacon.. sandwiches, quiche and other savory items available. Oh and also oatmeal. You can get some coffee and a pastry though. Good service, nice atmosphere. Try it, it's a nice change to the norm.
While staying in Coronado, we walked to the Tartine for coffee and a mid-morning snack. Both the pavlova and blueberry crumble were delicious. Quick, pleasant service even though it was a bit busy. We will be returning to try the breakfast menu.
Love the baby spinach salad with turkey--the goat cheese is amazing. Great portions. Great quality. Staff is friendly but the service seems a little slow to me. Not a hardship but if you're in a hurry order ahead for pick up. Has cafe bakery atmosphere and the desserts look amazing. Repeat customer.
