The Henry had a good crowd at 1:30pm on a Monday. We split a Turkey French Dip that was quite good and had me forgetting about a beef French dip. The place has a good vibe and people aren’t packed together. Would recommend and would return.

Some of the best Scottish Salmon we’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and so well thought out. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Coronado looking for a unique dining experience. Amy was a wonderful server. Thank you all for a beautiful meal. 🙌

What a beautiful place! Coronado Island is gorgeous in itself, but this picturesque spot is definitely worth a visit. The food is exceptional, and the service is just as good! I highly recommend visiting Coronado Island and having lunch at The Henry! You won't regret it.

Entrees were an enjoyment. Enjoyed the layered flavors, perfect temperature when served, cooked to perfection meals both my wife and I had. Harvest Bowl and Rigatoni Alla Vodka are recommended. Server was friendly and attentive. Place is trendy but a little loud and can't have much of a conversation. Prices are in high range, but this is generally true for this tourist area.

This was a bit of a mixed bag In terms of food.
Service was excellent, although I read in one of the reviews that none of the bartenders were smiling; perhaps greet them and say ‘hello’ and that will make a difference! Yes, our bartenders were busy, they were hustling, and we sat at the bar, but they were not rude, rather they were efficient.
Also the atmosphere is a lot of fun. Crowded and joyful. Don’t come if you need to have a quiet conversation!
OK, let’s talk about why this is a mixed bag.
I’ll start with the good and then move onto the bad. The good:
1. We ordered the salmon and caviar appetizer, and it was exquisite! The flatbread really stood up. Sometimes flatbread gets soft, but this one stood fine. 2. The cocktails were excellent.
The bad:
I had the original egg sandwich. This is where everything sort of fell apart. It was listed as egg and bacon and mayonnaise and American cheese and avocado.
And I asked what type of bread, and it was served on a brioche. But what I received look more like a hamburger bun. It was just flat and not very tasty. Brioche should be soft and puffy and fabulous, and this was… Not. You can see the photos. Also, the egg was overcooked. When I order an egg sandwich, I’m thinking nice and soft, usually a little bit runny. I feel like I should have specified, because this was Really quite well cooked. But I think the main thing was that it was just a little tasteless. The American cheese was on it, and it had clearly been melted at some point, but, as you can see from the photo, it had concealed by the time it got to me. There was very little avocado. Just a square of it. The potatoes were good, and they had onions in them, and so I put the onions from the potato onto the sandwich, and it made a huge difference! I make a lot of egg sandwiches at home, and what I wanted to order was the Benedict, but they were out. So perhaps I should’ve looked at other options. The bartender said, “it’s a good egg sandwich.” But, alas, it was not.
End note: they forgot to put in our salmon and caviar, so that came out after we were done, but… They did comp it, which they should have, and it was excellent. So I would come back just for that salmon and caviar. Again, the flatbread was so crispy and seeded, and the salmon and caviar combination worked beautifully. It was not overly salty, and it was just exquisite!
So this is a for instead of a five, because the service was so good, but that egg sandwich really let me down. Maybe consider adding some grilled onions to it like I did? I know that’s not part of a traditional egg sandwich, but you could have an add-on menu? It really was amazing with the grilled onions! It was just what it needed.

Had a fantastic dinner here this past week. We have dined here several times but this experience was different and I felt compelled to submit this review. As always, the food is delicious, 3 of us had the short ribs and one of us the salmon. All were perfect, the portions were generous and the presentation always very pleasing. But... what made the evening so enjoyable was our waiter, Freddy. He was one of the most personable, professional and genuinely warm waiters that we have ever encountered. His suggestions were right on and he wanted to make sure we were very happy with our choices and his service. He even stated that he was there to make us happy! I've never encountered a waiter so invested in his service such as him. Thank you for making this a 5 star evening for us and a special thank you to Freddy for the exemplary service!

The food was so good! We got the salmon and the short ribs. I really enjoyed it! The server was attentive and friendly. I loved the atmosphere. We dressed up more than we had to as I saw other people were pretty casual but I did not mind! Such a great place for a date night. I will definitely be going again.
Wonderful. Eric our waiter was attentive Food delish. We will be back our first time there.
We had a family gathering over brunch to celebrate an engagement. We had a party of 9. Service was excellent throughout the meal (thank you Patricio!). The food was delicious (I especially loved the seared tuna chop salad). And the menu has options for my daughter (who is vegan and gluten free). We truly appreciated the nice ambience, accommodation of such a large party (easy reservations on Open Table and being seated shortly after arrival), and helping us celebrate this special occasion with such a perfect meal. The Henry is one of our favorite restaurants on Coronado and we will definitely be returning again with the family.
The Henry is a consistently wonderful experience. The food is always great, service superb and it is just a delightful place to go to for a meal.
The food was outstanding. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and said it was the best dinner we'd had in San Diego for this trip
