Il Fornaio

Our busser rushed us. The food was meh. Prosciutto on the pizza was not cooked. Pasta was nothing special and a rather small portion. Fresh ground pepper was not offered on the caesar salad. Very disappointed.

Excellent pizzas menu & delicious Caesar salad. Patio seating was very nice & comfortable. Great service too.

Our server was amazing. Food was delicious. Gio was very kind. Great way to celebrate our anniversary:). Thank you - we will be back

My omelet was undercooked. The bread as usual was excellent. They seemed to be a bit short staffed. Our waiter was good but didn't come around very much. We told him we might want coffee later after our brunch.He did not return.

Alvaro made this dinner exceptional. Attentive, so polite and professional, our dining experience became elevated. The steak cooked to perfection, the crispy lightly battered calamari, the al dente pasta with a ragu; there was nothing any of us wanted different. What a lovely restaurant to have in our backyard!

The food at all the Il Fornaio restaurants that I have been to has always been very good. I would feel comfortable eating at any of their restaurants.

Calamari and pastas were excellent as usual. Hostess seated us in a quieter corner of the patio as requested. However, our table was not leveled, and teetered if we leaned on it. The house ciabatta bread was OK, but not warmed; would have preferred focaccia.

Our dinner and service was over the top great. We celebrated my daughter's birthday. Fresh pasta and roasted chicken dishes. Our servers were excellent. We will be back.

We have been coming to this location for over 25 years and it has become our kitchen away from home. This day we were served by Carlos. He did a fantastic job. He was attentive, but not pushy. He did everything right.

This is my favorite Il Fornaio . The setting is lovely, food is always good and the service is always good.

I've always lived Il Fornaio locations. Yesterday my buddy and I went to celebrate my birthday. The food was really very good, though the menu seems to have gotten much smaller. The atmosphere was wonderful. I love the way they are designed which for a chain I think is pretty good. And the service started out good but then as it became more and more obvious that the wait staff wanted to go home, which I understand, our waiter started removing plates from the table before everyone was finished eating and was actually asking about dessert before we were both ready for it. If you seat people don't try to give them the bums rush. There were still other people in the restaurant eating but our waiter made it so apparent that he wanted us to leave that it became rude. When you're spending the kind of money that you're going to spend at an il fornaio that is just inexcusable.

We recently moved back in the area and had dinner last night for the first time. In the past, Il Fornaio was our "go to" for special occasions. While the ambiance was still the same (ie: nice surroundings, comfortable booth seating, etc.) the food quality wasn't the same. I used to look forward to the free bread sticks and focaccia bread. Now they charge for a basket of generic baguette bread. I had the weekly special which was linguine with tiger prawns and oysters. The portion was generous and the garlic wine sauce was tasty. DH also had a different weekly special which was brick chicken with potatoes and side salad. The potatoes were way overcooked. Also, he asked for mashed potatoes not country potatoes. He pointed this out to our server when his dish was served. He was hungry so instead of waiting for the mashed potatoes, he went with the country potatoes. Service was pretty good and the manager came over to greet us, so that was nice. Previously, I'd have rated this place 5 stars. I'd say for the prices, it's more like 3.5.

I've eaten here lots of times and had great food. This night the salads were wilted, lacking in other ingredients. We sent one back to the kitchen. Ate the other, but left wanting. My friend said the minestrone was great. Since the salads were our main entrees, we were disappointed.

Excellent experience. Quickly accommodated a larger than anticipated party. Food was excellent so was the service
