The excellent attention by the staff, from when we arrived and through out our meal was excellent. We were checked on multiple times during our meal. Although we had a party of six our meals arrived at the same time. Quality preparation and quality ingredients made for an outstanding meal.

Our favorite table by the fireplace that we reserved was occupied. The customer had been there for four hours. We laughed and said we understood Our waiter Lucas was so nice and friendly Rodrigo our bus boy, our favorite, greeted us and made sure we were taking care of as he always does Food and Drinks were delicious

Aliya was a terrific server... very helpful and friendly. Like the new additions to the lunch menu and plan to try in the future. Fish on my salad was a bit overcooked so think I will request that it be a bit undercooked the next time. Salad was otherwise spot on with creativity and combo of flavors.

Disappointed

This is the second time I have been seated in one of the booths that divide the dining room from the kitchen. Unfortunately, the service is not good because they expect the bartender to wait on the 6 bar customers, 3 high chair tables across from the bar, the 6 or 7 booths, in addition to making drinks for the whole restaurant. They have food runners that deliver the food, but it took forever for the bartender to take our order. Same as last time. These tables should be serviced by a separate waiter and leave the bartender to serve only the bar customers and make drinks for the whole restaurant. While the food is generally good, the service could be improved.

I had to find the server to ask for the bill. No checking to see if all was okay during our meal. I made a note on my Open Table reservation that it was for a birthday and there was no acknowledgement by the server. When I mentioned the birthday to the server as I was paying for the meal, she didn't even bother to say happy birthday. She just told us that no-one had notified her about it. . . .what's the point of the OpenTable question about whether it's a special event when nothing happens? The food was very good, as usual, the ambience very good, but the service left much to be desired.

It felt like the waiter forgot about us. We had to wait for water and our utensils/napkins. We were sitting outside and only one heater worked. Then it went out and they said they ran out of propane. The installed overhead heaters I guess were broken too. It felt like everyone else was being served inside before us....lesson learned, don't sit on the outside patio unless you have warm jackets on and you don't mind scarfing your food down before it gets cold.

The food I received was cold. The food was delicious. They did make a mistake with my friends order due to a mix up with gluten free but remedies it within about 5-7 minutes. Given we were there for a bit before getting the food I did not make a fuss about the meal being cold.

In the past few months, the food quality has been turning down. Last night, the fish tasted questionable, which is really disconcerting for raw fish, the miso soup was uneatable. This is 4/4 disappointing meals since November. They have been hit-and-miss before, but not this many misses in a row. I'm probably going to have to take this off my rotation list. Feels like they are doing cost saving measures (despite keeping prices high) and the quality is suffering.

The broccoli was cold. The fish was underdone and under seasoned. The mashed potatoes were cold. The drinks barely had any alcohol in it and a lot of ice. Definitely will not be going back there.

Food quality and portions have dropped drastically. Sushi tasted and looked old and like it was pre made. I can get that in a grocery store Bowl had fewer ingredients than when we used to go. Rice and quina was only rice with a table spoon of quinoa Clearly corners are being cut leading to a possible demise in the future. We will think twice about returning.

Two of our party of four had the California salmon bowl. The salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. One had trout with sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini; he enjoyed all of it. Our other group member is still experiencing CoVid compromised taste buds, so couldn't comment.

First time in this branch. Food is always great but i think i just ordered a wrong item for me as I don't like five spice but manage to swap my order with my husband. Service is fast and respectful. Ambiance is great. I only been to Walnut Creek and Dublin, but i think I would prefer going here instead of Walnut Creek, parking is just hard.

Coming back from the city we were feeling like fish and chips.. yelp search/ rating directed us to Pacific Catch. It was fairly quiet for 6pm on Sunday. Seated promptly- this is our first visit and we asked our server what his favorites were and he said he didn't like seafood. I was curious about the new Thai curry bowl ... but the ingredient/ combo was throwing me- I'm glad I asked for a small sample of the green papaya salad- it was like a weird slaw with a pungent dressing. Not sure how that would work with green curry. So I went safe with trio of tacos Our appetizer was the Korean ribs. As an appetizer, the portion was generous, however they were super salty. We each has one and that was enough. Good thing we were drinking water as we drank the bottle given for refills. A few minutes later, hubby's fish and chips arrived... he waited a min but I told him to eat.. the side slaw was ok, nothing exciting, fries we're plentiful but frozen fries that cooled off quickly. The fish and chips were hand dipped meaty tender chunks of fish. Tartar sauce was good. After hubby fished the first piece I began picking at the ribs since we were hungry. Our waiter no where to be found.. we waited.. I started picking at the fries and they were getting cold.. after a few more mins we track down our server and ask about my tacos - he checks and says they aren't done yet. Another 3-5 mins later hubby is finishing his dinner and mine arrives. Instead of Fries I ordered the side salad, salad was generous portion and had an interesting and refreshing dressing. My side of beans arrived luke warm and tasted straight from a can with a sprinkle of cojeta cheese. My trio of tacos - in all cases the corn tortilla was oily and necessary to hold the taco together but mostly unpleasant due to the amount of oil which made it a big soggy. The grilled yellowtail taco- it was good and cooked properly - hubby really enjoyed it. I could appreciate it but not my personal preference (not a big yellowtail fan) I ordered to try and pass to hubby. If you like yellowtail you will most likely really enjoy this refreshing taco. Hot fish taco- not sure if the two jalapeño slices are what makes it hot. I don't like jalapeños - this was not hot and just ok to me.. was missing something.. two bites as intended- tortilla oily and just removed fish and ate with tartar sauce Baja cod taco - by this time the tortillas are soggy with oil. I had one bite for me, one bite for hubby removed the fish and ate with tartar sauce. Our server didn't check on us until he was clearing plates.. bill came to $73 with tip I don't know what all the hype is about this place. Server was friendly, but should've been on top of serving us both at the same time and not 10+ mins apart. Staff was hanging out watching the game. The food was either super salty or bland .. I just don't get it.

I had the most delicious $15 Lunch Special BAJA COD SALAD at Pacific Catch Corte Madera on Friday, 1/26/24, served by the charming Bartender Christine. I cleaned my plate, it was so good. Friendly vibe, great food at Pacific Catch. ‼‼

I went to pacific catch Friday night where I sat at the bar with Jaxton bartending. It was very busy but he greeted me right away and said he would be with me in one moment, which was actually only a moment. A lot of places will say they'll be a second but then take forever, Jaxton took less than a minute to get back to me. He made my drink and it was the best drink I have had. Then I got the poke which was amazing. Jaxton even got me some extra sauce for it. With Jaxton behind the bar the establishments ambiance was very chill.
