The Frolic Room is a Hollywood staple being one of the oldest bars in the city as well as a fun dive bar. The place is the size of a hallway but always a good time. The drinks are incredibly affordable - margaritas were only $8 and they serve them in the tall glasses! This is your perfect pregame spot before your Pantages show or just an awesome night out.

I have been to the Frolic Room about 10 or 12 times, always right before a show at the Pantages. Cute little neighborhood bar (older bar, but really cool). Don't expect anything spectacular, except possibly some conversation with some great folks or your friends/loved ones. Why do I come here? Two reasons specifically:#1 - Lower Cost Drinks. You have seen the prices of drinks in this city, right? Well, the Frolic room is essentially like Buy 1, Get 1 Free. You can get two cocktails for about $10 - $12. In many places, one costs more than that.

This was my first time visiting Anchor Bar and it definitely won't be my last! I placed a reservation through the staff, who was absolutely lovely! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made the process a breeze. When we arrived we sat by the fish tank and listened to the live band as we enjoyed our very tasty meals! The sushi is phenomenal I definitely recommend it. The whole atmosphere of the place is great :), I can't wait to come back next time I'm around the area.

Its always a great time at original pizza upstairs and the anchor bar down stairs . The staff are all so kind and helpful. Great local place and a wonderful experience for the people that aren't from the area . Come on down .

I'm not sure if the other reviews are fake or not because I went there on a Saturday night and there were literally 5 people hunched over the bar and that's it. The upstairs was closed. I went to ask the bartender for a drink only to be given a "what do you want?" Attitude. I ordered a drink, took a few sips and left. I gave them 2 starts instead of 1 because this place actually exists in reality.
