Rude Customer service. Absolutely pathetic coffee. A disgrace to the Armani brand.

I’ve never come across a place like this—it’s small, with maybe two or three employees, but they’re incredibly professional. The coffee? Always consistent. Every single time. And it’s absolutely magnificent.
The flavor of the coffee is unmatched. You simply won’t find anything like it anywhere else in Southern California. I’ve tried coffee from many places, visited countless cafes, but nothing compares to the experience here. The atmosphere, the quality, and the professionalism of the staff—everything about this place stands out. There’s truly nothing like our Manniqain.

What's shopping without a quick coffee break? What used to be Antonello Espresso Cafe is now Armani Cafe.
Parking: This little spot is located in the South Coast Plaza. There's parking lots and parking garages.
Ambiance/Environment: This spot is more so a quick grab-n-go. There are very limited tables in front of the cafe. The experience can definitely be enhanced with a designated seating area and decor. Especially with the prices. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was busyyy. They had a consistent line.
Service: There were only 3 workers. One cashier and two baristas. Service was simply quick and efficient.
Drinks: I got an iced latte with dulce de leche. The layers were aesthetically pleasing. I really enjoyed this drink; the dulce de leche had caramel notes which balanced well with the bitterness of the espresso. The pastries are displayed in the front, but it does need a restock as it seemed empty. I didn’t try any pastries because none of them looked appealing to me.
Pricing: I’m not sure exactly what my total was, but I did remember hearing the cashier saying my total was $9 with some change. I gave her a $20 bill and received back $10 and some change. It wasn’t until after I realize my change didn’t add up. I’m aware this is my fault bc I should’ve paid more attention and brought it up. A latte is $6.50 + $1.25 added syrup. Either way, I can’t really justify the pricing. It’s quite obvious you’re paying for the brand name. I enjoyed my drink, but I’d only visit once in a blue moon.

Lemon tart. Sized as less than 1/2 of Iphone 16. No prices were marked inside or outside of the pastry showcase. Blindly purchased 2 pastries and paid $20. I mean this is very shallow tart with no fruits. Seemed like just factory sourced dessert. Even Laderach chocolate gives away free samples. Too many staffs work here and I guess all my money went to these labors. Have you tried Magnolia’s Key Lime pie/dessert pastry? They are way better than “Armani’s”. I didn’t find the pastry menus anywhere. Nothing different from supermarket bought lemon pastry.

It's one of the best cafes in the South Coast plaze Mall in the Costa mesa area.

The coffee drinks were quite enjoyable, and the buttercream cake featuring the café’s initials was a delightful treat that perfectly satisfied my afternoon craving for something sweet and caffeinated. While the service was satisfactory, the ambiance could be enhanced, as the establishment primarily offers a counter and tables, giving it a more casual vibe than the traditional café atmosphere.

If you don't leave them a tip, they just forget about your order.
There was a big hole in the chocolate cake, so they sell you a full cake and you just don't get it fully.

The cafe looked good in the middle of shopping mall. After I sipped my espresso shot over ice, I trashed it. My friend ordered green tea latte, it was no good she trashed it also. I smelled stinky stale smell of coffee bean. Please don't waste your money. It is also expensive.

The coffee and pastries are awful. It’s VERY ecpensive. I’m not sure if they really care about my review and customer service. Go to the French coffee shop on the bridge. This coffee shop is really bad and expensive.
