Costa Mesa/Newport Beach, CA đhands down 10/10, food and experience. We stopped in here after the wonderful owner, Kurt, invited us down to try his delicious sandwiches! And safe to say we made the right choice. These sandwiches are huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. This location has been here since 2013, however beach hut has been around since the 80âs. They even add cream cheese to some of their sandwiches! đ The staff was wonderful, including the owner Kurt. You are missing out if you donât stop in to get a sandwhich, tell them coco sent you!

Needed a place to kill time before my nail appt and I've been here before and loved their freshly made sandwiches. It was empty so it was perfect since I hate eating alone. Just a few guys watching the football game inside and I looked out to their patio and it was so cozy. They had nice couches and I had the whole outside to myself. It was so relaxing eating my sandwich and enjoying the fresh air. I wish the price wasn't so expensive, almost $20 for a sandwich and chips, no drink. But it was yummy either way.

The sandwiches at Beach Hut Deli (Costa Mesa) were very goodâfresh, flavorful, and exactly what we hoped for. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by an employee named Mia, whose rude, dismissive, and visibly angry attitude made us feel unwelcome. We visit the area at least twice a month and were looking for a reliable spot for great to-go sandwiches. Sadly, no foodâno matter how goodâcan outweigh such poor customer service. Because of the uncomfortable vibe Mia created, we wonât be back.

We bought 3 small sandwiches and we were full. They fill those sandwiches perfectly, and they are so flavorful.
Not to mention the beach bites are perfect for an appetizer, or a meal which our son did and he loved the sauce. ( We got it hot, but you can order it cold)
Has a bar area with Tv screens perfect for game days! Super family friendly, if I lived closer this would definitely be a once a week spot or more.
Vegetarian options: There is a few sandwiches that are vegetarian, but you could definitely substitute things in other sandwiches to be vegetarian friendly and Delicious.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options
Parking: It's in a plaza so but there is parking close by.
Kid-friendliness: Kida menu, the area is spacious. There were other families there at the time.

This has been my favorite Beer and sandwich shop in Newport for about 5 years now. Great sandwiches, beer and staff. This is one of the most down to earth, chill places to have a beer in Newport. Give it a shot!

I've lived in the area for over 20 years, and somehow, I never got around to checking this place out. That changed a few weeks ago, and now I've been coming here every other day for three weeks straight. The food is delicious, the beer selection is top-notch, and the overall vibe is just fantastic. Itâs quickly become my go-to spot for unwinding and enjoying a great meal.

I ordered the Righteous Reuben and the Beach Bites. I must say that the Righteous Ruben was absolutely delicious. The Beach Bites was also a good pick I really enjoyed my food and I definitely recommend this place if you are craving some tasty pastrami.
