Consistently the best shabu shabu place. The service is great, the quality of the meats are excellent, and especially their dipping sauces are by far the most flavorful I've tasted.

I enjoy chit chatting with the employees and I can tell how much they really care about providing the most welcoming service for their customers. I loved the food everything is done in house and Wayne treated us with the utmost respect and really made me feel at home. My first time having shabu shabu was made so perfect I dont think i could try a different location at this point. Already recommended all my friends and family and I'm definitely hoping to be back soon

We wanted to try Japanese cuisine and decided to visit this place. The experience was good. As an Indian, I was looking for a hotpot soup without beef, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any such option. We had to cook vegetables and chicken in plain water, which wasn’t ideal. Additionally, there was only one option for vegetarians, making it unsuitable for vegetarian diners or those with dietary restrictions. However, my American colleagues enjoyed it.

This is a great experience whether you're a regular shabu shabu diner or a first time rookie. The setting is very communal yet each person has their own hot pot burner and can select the proteins, sauces, and broths of their choice. Steak quality is superb, service is exceptional, and judging by the number of regulars, most diners leave satisfied and looking forward to the next opportunity. Great place to visit if you're in Costa Mesa shopping or seeing a concert at Segerstrom (as we were).

The pot was running a little too hot and would evaporate the broth too quickly. You can’t control the heat yourself here. I asked for a broth refill. Server then filled the pots with water rather than broth. Which changed the flavor entirely. Tonkotsu broth is extra here.
The server we had was a bit cocky and would tell you what you wanted rather than ask you what you needed. Lastly we were double charged for the tonkotsu broth for a total of $14 dollars.
This meal was during a food rush so we just decided to pay and leave without complaining. I recommend avoiding their busy times.
The meat quality is fair and is comparable to other Shabu places in the area. Overall tasteful food, fair atmosphere, but lacking in service.

This place is the spot! Wow! I've been to other shabu food joints and was discouraged because I didn't know what i was doing and I'm not a good cook, but Wayne, the Owner, explained the entire process to us and showed us how to properly eat shabu. The quality of food is superb 👌 😋 Wayne was awesome to meet. Super friendly and very passionate about his business. I will be coming back real soon! 🤙
