This place is great, I think much better than it's competitor el pollo loco. Chicken is moist and flavorful, rice and beans and tortillas are all really tasty. I love the red rice! Great easy meal for our picky toddlers. We will start coming more often!
We had not been to a Charo Chicken in quite a while. We were pleased to discover this location exists, so we drove in from Tustin to try it for dinner. We each had the Famous Moes Potato and it was great. The chicken was tender and tasty. The potato was well cooked and nicely seasoned. The salsa, guacamole, and shredded cheese were plentiful and added just the right amount of flavor to the dish also. The service was fast Ave friendly and the price was reasonable too. I choose to get Charro chicken about once every three months. I prefer drive thru chicken. But I do like their tortillas a little better and their side selections. My kids like it, however, a few times my family found it to be a little too salty. But when we it’s not overly salty chicken, it’s really good.
