“I can’t believe what I thought I was eating before was pizza! Such fresh ingredients, I felt I was eating direct from the garden. Even the plentiful cheese tasted super fresh. Make note that this excellent pie takes time to make. You can rush perfection. Be patient and have a beer on tap!“

“The last hidden gem in Costa Mesa. This easily tops waiting for chick fil a down the street. I let the cashier guide my order because I was too tired to come to a decision. He suggested the special which was wise of him because it includes 4 karage (tender fried chicken thigh) a potato croquette, 3 cali roll pieces and a salad with potato salad, excellent for a post 9 hour work day meal. My pregnant wife got the 5 piece karage and said it changed her life for the better. I didn’t take pictures because I was so in awe and in the moment. It was photo ready. The food comes out RIPPING hot. Which made us so comfortable eating there, especially pregnant knowing they make everything actually fresh to order, cooked to appropriate temperature to ensure food safety. Not just marketing fresh, there is nothing siting here waiting for you to order, this is not fast food. They tell you it’s going to take a few minutes and it’s worth the wait because they do not compromise on quality here. With that being said it’s not even that long and I will no longer be visiting chick fil a when this place is open and it’s much healthier.

“Mountain Mike’s Pizza is the spot. Their pizza is very delicious and they really hook it up with the toppings. The crust is not too thick or fluffy, it’s the perfect amount of dough.

Their pazookis are delicious too. My son is six years old and he’s super picky with food, but he loved it here and definitely wants to come back every time, especially for the pazookis.“

“People are sleeping on this spot. Went there on a Wednesday for lunch and were the only ones there. The food was delicious and the person I took to try KFC for the first time was blown away. I got the strips with the sweet and spicy yungnyeom sauce and my buddy got the legs, which were giant, with the soy garlic. Both of us agreed to come back regularly.“

“Thanks so much for the staff with the quickest delivery on earth lol. I ordered 3 extravaganza pizzas since there was a special for half off on all menu priced pizzas for a couple days. While I was practicing guitar I heard notification arrive and I couldn't believe my pizza already came! I then got a call from Domino's ensuring I had my pizza delivered. 12/10 service, speed, and food. I guzzled most of the first pizza practically immedietely lol. Will definitely order again!“

“Been frequenting this and their last location since the 90's. There is even an employee still working at this location from that era! They refreshed this location a while back but still majorly gives old vibes. The two entrance doors are always propped open, there's an empty refrigerator in the corner and the bathrooms haven't been touched but are clean. The food over the decades has been consistent in that you will receive chicken products either hot, never just fried hot, but hot as in recently made and still crispy or you get items that aren't hot but still fresh enough. Sides have always been served warm and fresh and the slaw always served chilled. I can't justify eating there too often because the prices are just too high for what it is but having the KFC app and checking out the posters on the windows I can often find a reasonable deal that will draw me in.“
