Had an awesome day date with the misses and my service dog. Sat at the bar and had they're happy hour specials yes I eat got a little bit of almost everything lol Calamari, mozzarella stick, fried zucchini, slidders, wedge salad, and for my service doggie I got her a kids meal 2 slider special with mac and cheese I ate ? food was delicious, service was awesome.

Hadn't been here in 30 years, but it didn't have the signature bread bowl beef stew (not a big surprise after so long) I was excited to get again. We had a large party, and the service was great. The food was good, and you'll be happy if you're a meat and potatoes kind of person. These elections might be underwhelming if you are looking for more adventurous food. Overall, we had a great experience.

I had the best time at Costa Mesa Claim Jumper. The food was really good, service was friendly and attentive. I had the beef dip. Amazing. Everyone seemed to have a great time and loved the food. As many restaurants seem to be lacking in the service department, I was thoroughly impressed. Will absolutely be back.

Parking: This restaurant is inside the mall building, so you will need to park your car at the Mall Parking and the restaurant is in 2nd floor.

Nice place to dine and hang out. Happy hour from 3 to 6pm with discounted drinks and appetizers. Lots of variety in the menu.
Parking: Park in the north end of the mall for more spaces.

The food was ok. I thought my salmon was a little dry and could have used a sauce. The burgers looked good. My son had the pizza and said it was only ok. Our server was very good and made sure we were cared for. It was very hard to hold a conversation because it was very loud.
Interesting experience, to say the least. Our waiter was great, assuming he turned our orders in correctly. He was attentive and made sure he noted our special requests (no blue cheese on a salad and no dairy products on the BBQ Ribs plate).
When the salad came out, it was covered with blue cheese. My wife can only tolerate small amounts of pepper. What you would normally sprinkle on your food is fine. But the tri-tip in her tri tip dip was coated with black pepper.
She took her first bite and immediately spit it out. The pepper was so strong, besides tasting badly, it gagged her.
We called the waiter over and explained. He was very apologetic and said he would make sure the cooks put a rush on remaking the salad and preparing a hamburger for my wife.
Without exaggeration, we had waited 30 minutes (the restaurant was not busy), and the replacement meals had not arrived.

How can you not love Claim Jumper? Large portions, good food, great service, and have you tried the motherlode cake? Because you definitely need to! If you haven't been here, make a trip out, but you might need to wear your elastic pants!

The food and atmosphere were both pretty good, but it took a long time to get seated in what looked like a very open restaurant. The food was alright but the service was lacking. I asked for some condiments and never received them. I asked for a soda and after about 10-15 minutes received the wrong one after being asked a few times if what I wanted was correct. I realize someone could have been having a bad day or just been overworked, but it still is difficult to give a good score on service.
