I love this place. A house special and an antipasta salad. Amazing meal.

After playing golf nearby we decided to eat something and we found this place. Right at the moment we came in, the manager or probably the owner and the hostess looked at us from top to bottom and looking at us like some kind of weirdos. We asked the menu to see but he shouted at us “dine in?” We replied back can we see the menu quickly first? And he again shouted at us Dine in? Or outside? We were very upset about the way how he treated us like he doesn’t want to serve us. We just walked out saying nothing but on the way out, he scoffed at us . I dont recommend this place

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience at this pizza place. From the moment I walked in, the owner gave me a dismissive once-over and ignored my greeting entirely. When I politely asked for a menu, he didn’t respond and instead radiated an attitude that felt like, “Are you eating here or not?” His behavior was blatantly rude and made me feel judged and unwelcome, as if I wasn’t good enough for his establishment.

I’m Mexican, and it’s hard not to wonder if my race played a role in how I was treated—it certainly felt like he looked down on me, treating me like I was beneath him. My friend, who owns a high-end restaurant in Irvine, was with me and found the owner’s demeanor equally unacceptable, noting that this kind of behavior is unprofessional and discriminatory. We were dressed appropriately, coming straight from a golf outing, so attire clearly wasn’t the issue.

We left without ordering, as the owner made no effort to rectify the situation or show basic courtesy. This kind of treatment is inexcusable in any business, especially in hospitality. I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless you want to be met with rudeness and judgment. There are plenty of welcoming pizza spots that deserve your business instead.

I’ve lived nearby for about 22 years and have been to Haus of Pizza many dozens of times. Consistently excellent.

Fantastic little find. It was our first time there and we were celebrating a birthday. We had a party of 10. Service was great. Food came out fast and was delicious. Everyone was pleased. We had a good time. We will definitely be going back. 😀

35 YEARS IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!!BEWARE THE FOOD QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE COSTA MESA HAUS PIZZA HAS TAKEN A NOSE DIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!....THE MANAGEMENT IS MOST LIKELY TO BLAME WHICH IS A SHAME......... My family has been frequenting Haus Pizza for over 34 years essentially since they 1st opened their doors. The past few times we have ordered food to go it was completely unacceptable the conditions of the food. More than once making mistakes on our order. This past weekend I finally called them back to get resolution to a problem with my order. Despite sending pictures of the poor condition of the food and clearly lack of care in the preparation of our oder, I was told by the manager that is was my own fault. The pizza had little to no topping or cheese on half of the pizza which was not due to anything but failure by their kitchen staff . The manager tried to explain it off that it probably shifted during transport. How does cheese and toppings shift without pepperoni moving also. Clearly the preparation was done without care or consideration of their customers. To be told that it's my fault is unacceptable. They definitely have not only poor service and low quality products but a blatant disregard for customers who have been long time patrons. IF YOU WANT POOR QUALITY FOOD AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE CHOOSE HAUS OF PIZZA WHERE THE MANAGEMENT BLAMES THE CUSTOMER FOR THE LOW STANDARDS YOU CAN EXPECT FROM AN EXPERIENCE EATING AT HAUS PIZZA COSTA MESA.

The service from Ember was excellent, and the food was very delicious. We had pepperoni and sausage pizza, Fettuccini alfredo, lasagna, and a pastrami sandwich

I got the Haus Special and wasn't disappointed. Delicious with perfect crust. I should have gotten a bigger pizza so that I could have some the next day.
