This place was recommended to me. The person suggested I try the 2 taco combo plate with rice and beans. The tacos were big/hefty. It is good I didn't order more tacos. I shocked to be full after eating it. I ordered two additional tamales, rice, and beans for my lunch tomorrow. I can possibly make two more meals. Either way you look at it. Great food quality and quantity. Take out only. They do accept payments with card. I highly recommend this place.

This Summer Drove 5 1/2 hours from Glendale Az for the Food. Ordered 2lbs carnitas garnish salsa chips corn tortillas rice and beans soda to go for a sunset picnic dinner at Huntington Beach feeding 4 adults for around $50 . I used to drive out of my way to grab food from there but man this place needs a serious cleaning! Was there about a year ago and the ceiling was falling down on us. Have they cleaned up, drove by there & kept driving..
El Toro please reply if the place has been cleaned up. I really used to like going there. They also got really stingy with the salsa..

The food here is okay especially for the price. The portion of meat in the burritos is better than in most places. I know now to stick to their carne asada. I tried the lengua but the lengua meat here was way too chewy and tough for my taste.

The issue I've had with this place is the customer service. I don't expect much when I visit any restaurant but a simple greeting, goodbye or heck just a head nod should be customary to at least acknowledge your customers existence. But the staff here all seemed rude especially the cashiers. Everyone I saw working at this place seemed visibly unhappy to be there and deal with customers. Both times I've visited the cashiers couldn't be bothered saying a single word to me while handling my transaction. Perhaps the service is hit or miss at this place but either way I'll be taking my businesses elsewhere.

Food is great! The portions are not standard. One person can have a taco that's fully loaded and another barely any meat. But if you get a fully loaded taco your are good with just two!

I've been eating here since I was 3, almost 30 years now. I've always been recieved well I have never had any complaints.

There's a new set of workers over the last decade however, are not up to the standard customer service I would expect for a small spot like this that depends on the community that surrounds them.

These young workers seem like they hate their job or life and intend to take it out on the customers. It's disappointing to have to be met with such a miserable person at the cashier, every, time, we go.... I haven't seen the workers have a good day or smile at a customer in my visits over the last 5 years.

Las muchachas jovenes, mas una gordita— tienen un caracter TAN FEO que hasta da lastima... El equipo de enfrente les hace falta MUCHA educacion, y tal ves una clase de customer service o un manager que en verdad se encarge de proteger el negocio. Haden ser familia porque calificadas para el puesto te tiene, no lo son.
