Health Food Chalet is uniquely different. And comes conveniently daily at the times I get hungry during peak hours when I can't leave work far to get food at a food plaza or at a restaurant similar style. Salads are tasty with ranch and balsamic. They have salads and sandwiches that are pretty good and caters to people directly at their work. The deliver guy is friendly and mostly on time unless they are busy with other places. As it is a route that these drivers have.

Better food than the competition - BUT SOOOOOOOOOOOOO late versus everyone else. They should wake up earlier and make some coin. Prices higher than comps too, but worth it. Bottom line, most in my office pass as two others come in before them.

Cory, the new grilled chicken you're using is NOT good. I don't want my Chinese Chicken Salad to have a grilled taste. It would be nice to see some new items every now and then.

Too much money for produce that is too old. I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese so I have to choose the veggie platter for $5.75 and give the cheese to my coworker. I would say that 50% of the time the broccoli and/or the cauliflower is old (meaning that it has brown spots on it). When I get the veggie and fruit platter the grapes are always too soft and don't taste good. It's convenient for when I don't go shopping after work to get my own lunch for the next day, but it isn't worth the money.

This super chilled-out surfer dude comes by our office every day with a plethora of interesting options. The food is consistently fresh, tasty, vegetable-forward and mostly healthy...so long as you don't get the Have'a chips with that salad. It's not only the most convenient food option, it's also better than any of the restaurants within walking distance. I am super bummed when I miss the Chalet, to the point where I practically chased him down the street yesterday. To the angry commenters, take it to McDonalds if you can't hang with real food and friendly service.

Positives: The number one positive is convenience! It is really nice that there is an option of healthy(ish) food that comes directly to my work daily. The ranch is delicious and given to you amply. The taco salad is good - and some of the wraps. The protein plates are usually very fresh and delicious, same with the fruit. The merchant that comes to our work is a really nice guy. Negatives: The chicken tastes like it was frozen and thawed and has a really funky smell and I have gotten parts with ligaments in it *puke* - chicken is in a lot of the meals here so this is a big negative. I used to like the BBQ chicken salad until I had a piece of chicken that was full of ligaments and now I just can't do it anymore. Another very big negative is the price... most salads/sandwiches are $6.50+ and the fruit cups are $4+... pretty pricey if you ask me. Also, while HFC is a healthier option than most fast food restaurants - the portions aren't very healthy. If I had it my way I would reduce the sizes of each item and reduce the price with it.

It's not great. And I don't quite understand why it's named Chalet. It's not a ski house, it doesn't serve fondu and beer or other ski-related delicacies... It's honestly more like a Health Food Tailgate, if we want to be accurate.

It was my first time trying this food at my work and I didn't have a good experience. The lady set up her shop in between 2 open hallways (meaning you would not know where is the line starting). I came first before my manager so I let her grab her food first and pay while this white racist merchant lady is still setting up her other coolers. I finally grabbed the sandwich and decided to come closer to her to pay, while making space for other customers since I was initially blocking everyone's way from the coolers as a way to be considerate. Instead of her appreciating what I did, she loudly accused, "You cut everyone! I'm not sure if everyone is cool with that." I felt very embarrassed receiving this hasty asinine judgement, especially when I noticed my director standing in line nearby. I didn't want to create a big fuss and only told her that i have been in line already. Food is alright, but the terrible experience of being rudely accused was more memorable if anything.

Food is fresh. The guy with the sweatshirt and sunglasses is awesome, But the prices are wayyyy too high. $6.50 Is way tooo much for broccoli and avacado.

The food is always fresh and when the delivery person knows you, they always make sure to have the foods you like on-hand! Love me my Elton!
