Kashiwa is a cozy little ramen place. Here, you order ramen by filling out a sheet of choices for type, broth, protein, noodles, taste, and toppings. The ramen prices were on the order form. The menu was more for reference. The ramen was pretty good. We also loved our server. She was friendly and super sweet whenever we ask for anything.

Small, clean ramen shop with great service and solid ramen. Having lived in West LA for a decade, we frequented Sawtelle often to get our ramen fix. Now that we live in Anaheim, I was excited to learn that Baker St was colloquially known as Ramen Row, so we've been making our rounds and Kashiwa is our first choice so far (in OC ... There was way too much pork fat in my broth (might be preference). Having worked at a ramen soup; cook must have forgotten the swirl and scoop method to get an optimal mix of broth and fat.
Would give it another try, but probably stick to my usually ramen shop in an office building in Orange.
