Good food here made to order. Service is good with a nice pleasant attitude. Presentation of the food was good and well balanced. Order the Katsu Teri combo. Preces are fair. Have to return to try other dishes on the menu.

I have been a regular since this location has opened and it has been nothing but positivity. They just launched a couple new items on the menu that are delicious and you can tell how much Axel cares about the customers, food, and restaurant. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Food was really good. Nice portion. Friendly service. I got the Beef teriyaki bento box, the California roll included in the bento was delish!

Deliciousssssssss, crispy and easy to pick up and go! It's not a life changing katsu by any means but it definitely gets the job done if you got those katsu cravings. Katsu burger was delicious with the slaw and pickles and sauce. The Katsu meal with California roll satisfied all of my cravings. No complaints crispy and not dry. Everything you want from a good katsu with an affordable price.

We were in for three people the month of 12/2023. I ordered the lunch bento and it was a lil' light on portions. Even the rice was skimpy. Rice costs nothing and they were being a bit cheap. I can't see anyone being happy with these portions. That aside the store seemed a bit dusty and unloved. Dirty windows and floor. For example a 5' drink cart that was turned off and had no drinks (that refrigerator that presents drinks) was sitting in a corner. The food wasn't anything to crow about. Heavy fried foods and not a lot of freshness. The sandwich had no garnish or side - you can't just put a sandwich in the middle of the place, looks sloppy. But likely the worse thing is that they didn't have water for paying customers or even a fountain machine. To not have water -- is so 'we are not even trying'. It really is a deal breaker and a 'not a real restaurant' vibe. They had bottled water is what they would say, but come on - that is lazy and cheap. It felt there was no vision and love for the restaurant - just a counter, open room and fryer. Like it is a last ditch effort of some sort. Also everything was served in plastic. It communicates cheap. We so wanted this place to be first rate, but it just doesn't rate. Such is life.

I get a little iffy when Yelp lists that a business didn't pass their inspection with flying colors, but Katsuyaki's food looked so good that I shook the dice and rolled them. I'm pretty confident that I'd risk a kidney for Katsuyaki's katsu chicken. I called in for takeout after an afternoon of running errands. I ordered their chicken katsu plate which came stacked with fried chicken, rice, and slaw. Their food was incredible and their facilities were impeccable. This place is famous for their katsu, but they also serve chicken and beef teriyaki. Some of their entree items are pretty wild, including their fan-favorite chicken katsu burger. The man behind the counter was so kind that I'd return for him alone. Can't wait for my next katsu fix.

Came here for pick up on a weekend. No wait. Ordered the teriyaki chicken/katsu combo plate and decided to take it home to eat. Food was good. The plate was served with a side of rice and salad. Both proteins with good. Teriyaki was tender and katsu was decent.

Overall a pretty solid Teriyaki Bowl place with no frills!Enjoyed the sauce that accompanied the salad, which reminded me of essentially a Japanese mayo/miso aioli which was also light. Teriyaki sauce was also enjoyable too!Parking/AmbianceStandard to go place with a pretty bad parking lot, but since people leave fast, it shouldn't take too long.Great place for a quick lunch/bite!

I've been a regular here so I wanted to give them a plug. The chicken katsu sandwich is killer and they just expanded the menu to include beef katsu as well. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Good vibe, great food. Do yourself a favor and ask for some spicy mayo on the side. Tell your friends.
