Worst La Michoacana I've been to. They have poor policies about what kind of containers your food can be in, won't split ice cream scoops, bad tasting cream for their biónicos, AND they randomly close when they feel like it. Father's Day? Closed. 2 hours before closing time? Closed.

Horrible rude customer service. I bought a good amount of stuff and they want to charge you 10 cents for a bag. Even this other guy that i saw buy something he bought a good amount of stuff and had his baby he asked for a cup the girl Jasmine kind of had an attitude like she took pleasure in saying well normally we charge and gave him the cup. Had I known this I wouldn't have tipped. She was kind of rude about it. Any other michoacana they don't charge me a bag. Pizza d oro the restaurant next to this place gave me a bag and I just bought a salad and a slice of pizza from them. I have bought things previously from this establishment before and they have given me a bag especially buying a good amount of stuff. This isn't a grocery store.

OK, if you’ve never been to a Mexican ice cream and snack shop, you need to make some changes in your life. There is something for almost everyone in a place like La Michoacána. Ice cream, paletas (fresh made popsicles), mangoneadas, nachos, tostilocos, Cheetos con queso, crepes, aguas frescas, Elotes, milkshakes, fresh fruit, and I can go on and on. Seriously, you really can find something for almost everyone here. So if you want to keep it super safe and gringo, stick with simple, but really good, stuff like ice cream, paletas, and nachos. Their ice cream is made fresh in store every day. When you’re ready to channel your inner Mexican, you need to step it up and try a mangoneada. It’s an amazing combination of fresh mango chucks, ice cream, chamoy, and chili powder. Yes chili powder! The combination of sweet, salty, sour, and savory in your mouth is a complete flavor explosion. I highly recommend choosing fruit ice cream flavors for your mangoneada. Limon (lime), mango, and maracuya (passion fruit) are all top notch. Once you’ve had a mangoneada you’re ready for just about anything. Some of my favorite items are:Mangoneada ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Homemade ice cream (your favorite flavor) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Aguascalientes Frescas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Cheetos con queso⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Paletas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My guide on how I use the 5 star system:⭐️ = Not good⭐️⭐️ = Not terrible, but would not get again⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Solid, but I’d try something else before this again⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Really liked it! You should try this⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Loved it! Must tryI’ll make adjustments to my ratings after subsequent visits. If you see a .3 or .7 it means:.3 = Wasn’t as good the 2nd or last time I tried it.7 = This was better the 2nd or last time I tried it.

We stopped by for Mangonada and boy did it hit the spot. Good variety of flavors to choose from and chunks of fresh mango. What's not to like on a hot summer day?

This Saturday, August 5, I Costa Mesa Historical Society, had a birthday party for the 200th birthday of the Diego Sepulveda Adobe. For our birthday celebration we used La Michoacana to provide deluxe popsicles and beverages. Their service, presentation and quality of the food was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wanted something different for a celebration. Thanks to their team!

Delicious and the workers are very nice.

Wide variety of food options. Most are okay probably a good 5/10. Small business owned so not the same as that big Michoacana in Santa Ana on Bristol St. Service varies on who helps you, been coming here since opening and by far most staff that's been hires is good except an older lady that works closing shifts who's always in a mood. Other staff are kinda over it. Ambiance is a 4/10. They always take forever and most of the time the workers are in a crappy mood. I went in today and some male worker made my food the way I didn't want it and wouldn't bother changing it. He has no idea what he was doing at all even after he took my order and I had asked for certain toppings to not be added but he still did and didn't care about the customer service he was giving. Quick drive compared to going to any other michoacana but just go on that drive and get better food and service (:

Been coming here for a while even though the prices are high and the service is typically mediocre. Clearly I’m addicted or maybe I just miss mexico so damn much I keep coming back here. Idk! Haha my favorite is the esquite with hot Cheetos
