Northgate Market, Costa Mesa is a great place for Mexican food shopping as well as authentic Mexican restaurants. It has many public indoor and outdoor tables with heat lamps and lights where you can sit and dine with family and friends after buying your dinner plates at one of the restaurants. Highly recommended if Mexican food is one of your favorites.
Had the caldo de rez, it was really good. Good size serving too. Also tried the green chilaquiles, good size serving but lacking green salsa
Came here and ordered the Chilaquiles with red sauce. The picture on the display looked great. Waited close to 20 minutes to get my order, which ended up being the wrong order. Returned it and waited another 10 minutes to get the right order. Order arrived looking still a far cry from what to expect. The chilaquiles were drenched in watery beans and a bunch of rice (which it didn’t even mention being part of it) and just overall looked not that appetizing.
