This is my 2nd time visiting Meiji. The food was so good and I totally forgot to take some pictures and write the review on my 1st visit. Today I took some pictures and wrote this review. This place has best udon in town. I ordered 4 most popular dishes, beef Shabu Shabu Udon, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Fried Squid Legs, and Fried Chicken. They are all very tasty. Their udon noodles are handmade and the soup broth is so delicious. The restaurant has ambience of Japanese tastes...
I was not expecting how good this place actually was. I'm not familiar with the area and was taken there. It definitely gave me "hole in the wall" vibes. Food and service were incredible. I will 1000% be going back so I can try more menu items.
Solid place with a large but overwhelming menu. There was no organization to the menu at all and it was a bit hard to know what you were ordering.
I got the intestine udon and that was a bit of a miss for me. The zarus, tempura, karaage chicken, and cooked bowls were definitely much better than what I ordered. Could be user error but also the menu could be organized or explained a little better.
Still would come back to try more options!
