This is my forth time at Dynasty in the past two years. Service and environment hasn't changed, the acoustics of the restaurant results in a lot of white noise. The overall quality is not what it used to be, especially on the basic xlb and chowmein dishes. The new dishes, especially the fried calamari feels like a let down. Pricy for what we ordered. I think they need to up their game to compete with Din Tai Fung.

Really enjoyed the noodles and dumplings here. The right balance of noodle to meat to broth. All distinct flavorful. Not mushy at all.
The portions were good. Not too little, not too much that food was wasted.
We got medium spice for everything and it was fine. I saw a woman next to me sweating while eating— it made me very curious about the jump to “extra” spicy.

The soup here is amazing but that’s about it. The dumplings came out cold - both fried and soup dumplings and they were NOT GOOD. But the soup is what this place is known for and the soups did not disappoint! Both the chicken soup and beef soup were flavored perfectly well! Although the chicken soup was a bit cold as well, which threw me off. We also order hot green tea which was super strong and not hot at all. Overall, we will only be coming back for the soup here!
