Love this place! Pretty quick in and out no line, usually there is. Got the hot Goldie with just a single shot of espresso and banana bread to die for! Workers are super friendly and nice. I go every chance I can. 🙂

This is the single worst place for a drive through, people stop and wait in the right lane of Newport blvd because there’s 3 parking spots and the drive through line fits maybe 4 cars. It literally gridlocked the intersection by triangle square right next to a freeway entrance. Newport already has selfish and stupid drivers, we don’t need to give them a reason to be worse. That being said the branding is cute and the coffee and matcha is pricey but pretty good.

The location of Micro Dose is extremely, extremely, dangerous. Cars line up on Newport Blvd, which is a very congested, fast-paced street being a major thoroughfare in Costa Mesa. Customers line up with their cars on Newport Blvd to use the drive-through. This forces other cars to suddenly break on a super busy intersection.
This sudden stop-and-go in the traffic, piling congestion, and people weaving in and out of a super busy street is a recipe for disaster.
It is only a matter of time before a serious car accident happens.
Just today there was almost a multi-car collision right in front of the store on Newport Blvd for this reason. People slammed their brakes and very narrowly avoided getting hurt. This is an everyday scenario when the store is open.
Micro Dose's drive-though design and location is too risky. The whole system needs a change for public safety purposes. Let’s do this sooner rather than later so no one gets hurt — and so we can let quality coffee be the focus, instead.
It’s so hard to find quick coffee spots that aren’t just Starbucks or drive thru so I really appreciate this place. Their coffee and matcha are both really good quality. Personally I like my matcha stronger so I’d just recommend asking for an extra scoop if you’re the same. Super convenient and a solid go to if you’re in Newport. :) also I love how cute and girly it is too
