I have tried the katsudon and the curry dish. Both were phenomenal. Quality food and an unbearable price. The most authentic katsudon I've had in So-Cal.

Good for the price. The Miyabi bento is definitely eye catching, but nothing spectacular in terms of taste. I would be interested to try some of the other menu items, though.

Really good choices for lunch. The udon noodle soup and bento box are my favorites.

Prior to my most recent visit, the last time I was here was in late 2017, so it's time for an update! This is still my go-to restaurant in this food court. While I do love a good bowl of ramen, I still think that Santouka is very overhyped to warrant such a long line. The food here looked to be the same since I was last here. I ordered my usual, their chicken katsu curry with salad. It's still the same generous portion. It was good to see that the same employee was working the counter! The one thing that changed was that they were accepting forms of payment besides cash! It was nice being able to pay with GooglePay.

I recently dined at this authentic Japanese curry restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the food and prices. The menu offered a variety of options, all of which were full of flavor and traditional spices. The portions were generous and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The highlight of my visit was the affordability of the food. The prices were incredibly cheap and offered fantastic value for the quality of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and budget-friendly meal. It's located in the Mitsuwa food court. Please take the time to visit this place. It's an experience nobody should pass up.

Miyabi-Tei is located inside the food count found in Mitsuwa. My husband and I decided to pick Miyabi-Tei for an early dinner this past Saturday, a little before 5 pm. Being that it was cold, I wanted to get Japanese curry. We ended ordering: Chicken Cutlet Curry & Salad, $9.50 prior to tax- This meal comes with salad (dressing automatically comes on the side), chicken katsu, steamed white rice and a whole lot of curry sauce. The portion size for this meal is quite generous and the price can't be beat. I liked the salad dressing and thought it was good with the salad. The chicken was tasty but a little oily (but that is to be expected). I liked the curry sauce but did find it to be a little spicy. I am not much of a spicy eater but my husband thought my curry sauce was spicier than his (I didn't eat any of his). Pork Cutlet Curry & Salad, $9.50 prior to tax- My husband enjoyed his meal and found it to be very filling. He really liked the salad dressing and used almost all of the dressing that was placed on the side in a small little cup. He also thought the curry was pretty tasty. ------------------------------ (Total= $20.48 after tax) After we paid, we found a small table. Wait time wasn't too bad, about 15 minutes for our 2 meals. An employee called our number over an intercom and so my husband walked over to pick up both trays. Water is self served. Miyabi-Tei is definitely a great place to check out for a meal and their curry is not only a great deal but also a nice filling meal.

Located inside mitsuwa market in food court area. After a game of tennis I was craving some curry. Came here at a dinner rush so had a bit of a line. Food: Nice sized portion. Curry needed a kick as spice was very mild. I prefer a bit of a thicker sauce. Chicken was crispy and moist inside. Would've liked to have more of the red pickled ginger. I enjoyed the salad dressing. Prices have gone up a bit as with everything else with inflation

Ordered food from here and the SWEETEST lady helped us out at the register. I ended up ordering the Pork Katsu Curry and Beef Bowl. The Pork Katsu Curry was your classic curry! The Pork Katsu was juicy and fried to perfection, while the curry sauce was wonderfully thick and flavored well. As always, I thought they gave too much rice and too little meat/sauce. But overall, it tasted great! The Beef Bowl was also really tasty. It tasted like a fancier and yummier Yoshinoya beef bowl (and I mean that in the most positive way). Large portion too! Good food!

The place is over crowded. Very little sitting area and not very comfortable .not much of an ambiance either which is why i always do take out . No one pay attention when you try to order . Not the best costumer service however great food decent prices compare to surrounding japanese restaurents . I purchased 3 pork katsu ( 8.75 $ each without the salad) . The quality is pretty consistant pork was crispy .

Miyabi-Tei is located in the Mitsuwa food court. They serve a variety of Japanese dishes such as curries, udon, and bowls. I ordered the beef curry and it was very delicious. The sauce was full of flavor. The portion was quite generous which I liked. The beef wasn't as tender as it could be but it was still tasty. The price was reasonable too.

What we ordered: - Chicken cutlet curry & salad Miyabi-Tei offers a plethora of Japanese comfort food options, but their best offering is definitely the cutlet curry (either chicken or pork). The chicken cutlet has a lightly fried exterior and moist inside Their Japanese curry is the best that we've tried so far in OC; a very thick consistency with slight sweetness. The sides of red pickled radish and salad provide freshness between bites of savory curry.

This place is located in a food court in Mitsuwa. Unfortunately it is now mostly run by two Mexicans who are efficient but extremely stingy. You can ask for a stamps card that will give you a free meal once you accumulate enough stamps but if you ask for one the guy in front will just say he doesn't have anymore. I only knew he was lying when he gave another customer one right in front of me. So if they say they are out, just tell them you saw them give another customer one and they will miraculously pull out a stamp card for you. Also, another reason they are stingy is because the Mexican working in the kitchen will not include the sauces that you usually get with the bento specials. The Mexican in front will pack and bag your order and tie it up tightly so that you cannot check. DO NOT LET HIM DO THIS. ALWAYS ask that you inspect the contents of your order yourself before you take your food. I've seen so many ppl get cheated and not getting everything they ordered because the Mexican in front would attempt to hide it. Then he would get an attitude when caught. If you are willing to deal with this then I would say go for it. The food isn't bad but the service is terrible. I guess thats what you get for cheap labor.
