Such a rip off. There’s only one server and she is awful. She put in a $70 fish when I clearly asked her for the $20.99 one and wouldn’t take it back. The food is not worth the price!! Don’t come to this scam of a place.

UPDATE: A FLY WAS FOUND IN A DISH!!! Do not eat here!!!!!

This was a great find in the Irvine/New port beach area. Just 5 minutes from the SNA airport. There were plenty of parking in the free parking lot and the restaurant was nicely renovated. You can order directly via cell phone online menu or off a traditional menu. Portion was superb in the OC area and the price was very reasonable. The food options contain both American Chinese stables and many authentic Chinese dishes. Many dishes were so Chinese that were not seen in any other restaurants nearby. Must try if you are looking for Chinese food in the LA region.

Tier 0 food. Definitely legit. They even have a private room with karaoke. Our group had a great time dining here. Would recommend to all my friends.

The worst tasting food ever! Flooded their dishes with too much salt, too much vinegar and Moon Bay doesn't use fresh ingredients. Ordered the stir Fried Noodles with Beef and got it with shrimp. It was more like stir Fried bean sprouts and veggies and noodles. Waiter didn't offer to correct their mistake. Ordered the green beans and it came out limp, wrinkly and way too salty! Final dish was the Kung Pao Fried Diced Chicken. Chicken was dry, had the texture of leather, and Moon Bay must have spilled the vinegar bottle in the dish. In short, a very very bad $63.00 +/- lunch!

I want to love this place but I can’t. The food is great and the service is close to none. First of all, you have to scan the QR code to place the order on the phone. No paper menu at all. No interaction between you and the only waiter in the restaurant. What if there’s a non-smartphone savvy customer? He/she has to leave. Then, when you done, you can’t get attention from the only waiter because he’s so busy and he purposely ignores you. I waited so long to get the bill and almost left!

Superb flavors in the noodles and spicy duck. Some of the best Chinese food in a long while.

We ordered 5 dishes in total, all of them were too salty. Restaurant wasn’t too busy when we were there, but wait time was really long. Only one server.

I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the authentic flavors and warm atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and rich in taste.
The service was attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served.
I highly recommend this place for the authentic Chinese cuisine.

Really delicious! It’s not a very popular shop but it’s surprisingly delicious. My friend brought it here to eat. The portions are big and the home-cooked food tastes great. It’s really delicious.

The environment is okay, not big.
It tastes too salty. . . There are not many choices of dishes, so I don’t recommend it.

Authentic Chinese food, but the restaurant is small and the hygiene is average. It would be better if the environment is cleaned up.
