OUT OF RICE?? THE 2ND & LAST TIME IVE ORDERED. OR ATTEMPTED TOO. THE 7Th ASIAN RESTAURANT TONIGHT THAT HAD AN EXCUSE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO SERVE A WHITE ELDERLY DISABLED PERSON. GOING TO BED HUNGRY AFTER A VERY LONG NIGHT OF LAZY DISCRIMINATORY RUDE ASIAN RESTAURANTS INABILITY TO PREPARE ME THE MOST SIMPLEST OF MEALS.

We got egg rolls, bao, and garlic noodles with beef. Everything was spectacular. They were training a new employee and I loved how much kindness and respect they used in their training. We stayed a talked with friends for quite a while after we finished eating and felt no pressure to leave. The playlist was fire.

Food is pretty pricey and greasy. The portions are decent but not great. The people are friendly but inattentive. The whole place just looks scuffed. The bathroom wasn't clean and the drink machine may have had mold. Not terrible but unless you're really craving banh mi or garlic noodles, look elsewhere in the plaza for better value

I’ve been a fan of Nguyen kitchen since 2020,
(For all garlic noodle, crawfish pasta and especially their special sauce)
but honestly, I can only recommend going to the main branch on Main Street, OC.
This branch just feels… different. I gave it a few tries to be sure it wasn’t just a one-time impression, but I just couldn’t make it work.

Been here a couple times and the food is great! Big portions for a great price as well. Interesting flavors, and I think the Vietnamese approach to the sandwiches is greattt. The coffee is also fire!!

the sandwich was so small, and fries were ok, subpar at best. For $18+ for just a sandwich and fries is insane. It wasn’t something I’d go back to.
The orange location was much better. I was disappointed with my meal. Service was great tho!

Our family really loves the house chicken bowl from this place.
Don’t get the bowls, they don’t have enough protein to justify the cost.
The other stuff is probably good, but I wouldn’t know, since I got the bowl.
this thing is 80% rice, 15% cabbage, 4% air, and 1% pork.

Have no idea why this place is so empty? The crayfish pasta is absolutely delicious! 3rd time I've been here in a month just for that dish. Food is fresh and delicious. Cmon Costa Mesa, support this local business

They were very sweet especially when I mentioned a sensitivity to food dye and he suggested that I avoid the garlic noodles since they dye them. I ordered the beef pho and when it came out it looked strange almost like mud. I tasted it and it had a strange and mild flavor that didn’t improve with the addition of sriracha or like juice. The beef also had a mild sweet after flavor which was off putting. They were very sweet when I brought it up and gave me a refund immediately which was appreciated.

Consistently good food. Great service. The only reason I don't go more often is the seating. Uncomfortable chairs and only 1 family style table. I typically do take out.
